A fantastic hotel. Each room - bedrooms and shared spaces - is exquisitely decorated and it is an new and wonderful experience every time. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere convivial and the food superb. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Well worth a visit. A joy.

The hotel has really paid attention to its interior, for people who like this an absolute plus. Rooms are spacious, beds are good. Bathrooms bit dated but spotless. Dinner (in the garden) is enjoyable and tbe food served very tasty. Ecellent high standard breakfast. Cloesd of private parking. Last but not least, friendly staff.

Stopped at Hotel the France on our way home from the south of France. From the moment you enter the hotel, you will be charmed by the lovely interior. A lot of effort went into creating an amicable environment for the guests. This is clear from the vast amount of well chosen props and interior design choices, such as the large window separating the entrance and the lovely terrace.||||The same goes for the room we got: everything looked gorgeous. My wife was especially pleased with the romantic vibe of the room. The room was spacious, the bathroom was fine and the beds were comfortable but the ventilation was poor and as a consequence it felt airless.||||The Hotel de France can pride themselves with an excellent cook. We got a delicious (yet rather pricy) dinner, despite the small portions that were served. One concern was that I found the personnel to be rather unwelcoming, which dampened our mood a little.||||In summary: A strategically placed and lovely looking hotel with an excellent kitchen. Personnel could be more welcoming and ventilation could be better (in summer at least).

I'm staying in the Hotel de France since more than 10 years for some nights every year and I was always very satisfied w/ the room, the restaurant and the overall service. Since years the owner's family makes sure that their guests are feeling welcome and don't miss anything. They are doing the utmost to develop their historical building to the friendly and romantic place, which it is today. Every room is decorated in a different style w/ the personal signature of the owner. The restaurant is offering good quality diner and wine for a reasonable price and the breakfast serves definitely more than the typical French "Petite Déjeuner". The Hotel also provides outdoor parking on a closed parking lot.If I'm in this area of France I will never miss the opportunity to stay in the Hotel de France in Angerville.

Second time in this hotel, very nice place! The restaurant have good food. They open a pool with hamam and sauna, next time I will bring my stuff! All room have different decoration, the room are quiet.

The hotel is located conveniently just off the motorway, which you don't hear, but in a rather charmless satellite town well north of Orleans. It is, though, beautifully presented in a sort of Marrakesh style with a lovely courtyard with a water feature and a nice outside terrace on the first floor. However, as I read in earlier reviews the welcome from the hosts was really quite brusque and without any welcoming smiles whatsover. There is efficient and respectful and then there is downright rude. I am particularly sensitive to unwelcoming hosts as I think it has an affect on your mood and I later definitely felt in no mood to eat the quite expensive set menu. But there were no other options apart from a basic looking pizza place down the road. A couple of others were closed but this may have been in advance of the French holiday season starting when owners go on holiday before 'the rush'. I did notice the people who run the hotel brighten up a lot when some regulars came in but it only served to highlight the lack of warmth to other guests,

This is a comfortable as well as chic hotel (the light fittings are wonderful and public areas and terraces perfect for eating or sitting out). The staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing it too much trouble. Food is great and the location perfect.

Very good, quiet hotel, each room is unique and You can feel like in different world. Definitively one of my favorite hotels, nothing to compare with network hotels. You can feel like at home... and have breakfast in cozy kitchen...
