PALMAZUR BRIGNOLES

Spent a couple of weeks here whilst working in the surrounding area. The staff are welcoming and helpfully speak English well better than I speak French. |The restaurant offers a nice range of food and the couple of times I ate there the food is well presented and full of flavour. |The outdoor pool is lush to swim in during the hot days and there's a small gym available for use also, it was however a shame that the main multigym equipment was out of action during the entirety of my stay, |The room was spacious with a good size desk for remote working. |The location is remote, so the hotel is nice and quite but it also means you need to travel for shops and different places to eat in the evenings.

Basically a 3 star hotel with a golf course and "motel" rooms up the hill. Several irritating things - broken bedside light, leaky shower, kettle but no tea (and flimsy paper cups which were not restocked), no pool towels, mediocre restaurant food. Good staff though.

I stayed here with my family for five nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, and we were given adjacent, interconnected rooms, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel is located in a great area and features a beautiful pool that my kids thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant was also excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly. The hotel offers three electric vehicle charging spots, which allowed us to conveniently charge our car every night.

A car club weekend, so no golf, but a great stay in a very well appointed hotel which looked after us all very well.

We stayed at the hotel in August. Service - top - special thanks to the receptionist who made extract effort to help us to settle down (a young man with glasses) and Maxime from the bar / restaurant. Food - it was very delicious and with good options. We had three meals there each day and we did not get bored. Highly recommended the local wine from the wine yard next to the hotel. We bought one box back home. Golf - golf course is very well maintained; it is a course with very interesting holes, in particular, the 1st 9 holes. Swimming pool - it was very cleaned. It was a perfect stay for us. Hopefully we will come back soon.

En route to Florence for a conference, family in tow, we needed to break the journey for the night. The Mercure is located in the grounds of a fine golf course some distance outside Brignoles. The surrounding countryside vibrates with the scents and delights of Provence and I was thrilled to be back in such a magnificent part of the world. The hotel was a more than pleasant surprise. Rooms were located outside the main building in a separate construction with a fine swimming pool. Spa resources also available. The main building contained a most delightful restaurant with very good levels of cooking indeed. Service was professional and welcoming and the general atmosphere was relaxed and very enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic although it ended abruptly at 10:00. A really fine hotel with excellent facilities and lovely rooms. Fine value for money in a wonderful part of France.

Visited to play golf. Very nice environment but major renovation work is going on. We had asked for a quiet room yet they gave us a room right next to the main works. The noise was absolutely horrendous and the workers told us they would be there every day from 8am. Eventually the receptionist agreed to move us to a room higher up which was very good though we were still woken by the noise from the trucks. When the works are finished this will be a good place to stay and the restaurant was excellent.

We stayed there in February for a week. The hotel is located right on a great and challenging golf course. It's a place you should stay for a golf trip since it's not too close to a bigger town. You are about 50 min to an hour from Aix-en-Provence, Saint-Raphael/Frejus, Toulon and St-Tropez. ||||The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are a little bit on the older side but clean and equipped with a mini fridge. Thy are of a good size so you can fit your Golf Trolleys if you want. ||||The down side was the restaurant. The food was very good but the " a la carte" menu is a bit limited for a long stay. If you are there for a couple of days it's excellent but if you plan on spending more time you have to consider eating somewhere else because you will have gone through the menu quite rapidly. ||||But overall a very nice stay.
