Wonderful two day stay. The staff were friendly and outgoing. The rooms are cozy, although a stronger AC would have been nicer. The pool and services are incredible, and the location is beautiful with easy access to any shops nearby. Highly recommended! Especially for the price.

The staff were great - friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. Rooms were small and the air conditioning didn't work well so they were very hot at night. My daughters' room smelt very strongly of damp. They were reasonably clean. Because there are no balconies, it was difficult to dry wet costumes and towels. The swimming pool and outside area was very well- maintained and our daughters loved spending all day in the pool. There was little in the surrounding area and a car is essential - it's about a 10-15 minute drive to Aubagne. The only restaurant in walking distance to the hotel was closed. It was, however, peaceful and quiet with good access to the main roads. Breakfast was good but it was a shame it wasn't included in the price and at 11 euros each for an adult it was expensive to have everyday. We didn't use the restaurant as the menu looked to be a little limited for our childrens' tastes and expensive.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights due to a friend getting married close by. I want to start by saying that the staff in the hotel are so lovely and so friendly and helpful, particularly the lady that speaks the best English! However .. ||The bedroom - the room itself was very small. There was a faint smell of stale cigarettes when we initially walked in, having looked out of the window I could see directly on the floor were cigarette ends. The bedding and towels were changed daily, however when we first arrived there were crumbs on the bedding. We also noticed ants on the floor towards the end of our stay. The bathroom is not private, the door is frosted glass and has large gaps at the top and bottom of the door. The bathroom itself was very small although it was clean. The plug in the sink was broken, meaning that the water was not draining as the plug was stuck (plugged in). The hairdryer in the bathroom cut out after 2 minutes of use. ||Hotel facilities - very disappointingly, the swimming pool was out of use due to a service which was not advertised. If we had known this, we would not have booked to stay here. Also the area around the swimming pool seemed messy and unkept, there were weeds and leaves everywhere so not a great setting. We had breakfast included with our stay which was okay - no hot or cooked food, some cold meats, cereals, yoghurts, packaged cheeses, bread and pastries. The hotel bar was closed very early - on Friday evening it had closed by 21:30. ||Location - there was not much to do in the immediate location of the hotel, however a lovely restaurant next door and further up the road was a pizza takeaway, a shop and a fast food place which was nice. Thank fully there is a free bus (number 8), which departs just a 10 minute walk from the hotel and goes into the centre of Aubagne, which took about 10 minutes. My partner and I made the most of this and from Aubagne you can travel to a lot of other places, we took a bus to La Ciotat which

We visitied the hotel from September 26 to October 1. We had a family room since we travelled with our 8 year old daughter. Our first breakfast was fine as it was served scrambled eggs and sausages. But the next morning after that the breakfest was very simply without eggs and anything heated. At our first day we had lunch and that was very good. You get a lot of food and it was very good. The pool was opened unntil september 30. The pool looked quite dirty and it smelled very chlorine. Our daughter jumped and played in the pool at our last day and she swalloed some water and quickly after we got up she was sick and puked and her stomack was ill. The cleaness of the room was not so good. My daughter found a used panty under her bed. It was not good. The hotel seemed quite worn and it really need a refresh.

Good value and set in a splendid situation, the room I had faced out towards the hills giving a very nice welcome on a morning. The rooms are well equipped and cosy with modern bathrooms. The staff were friendly and spoke reasonable English. My only quibble is the size of the bedrooms, they are a little on the small side, but otherwise an excellent hotel.

The rooms are a bit gloomy, we had a family room. The look and feel of the hotel is outdated. The positive is they have a pool, which is refreshing after a long drive. But we were more than happy to leave the hotel early the next morning.||The other positive aspect of the location is the fact there is a nice restaurant around the corner which enables you to enjoy a good meal in a nice atmosphere.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening and were pleasantly greeted by friendly hotel staff who took our bags and showed us to our room.||We were shown the room and it was tiny! The saying couldn't swing a cat was an understatement! We were paying £80 ( 120euros)a night for this room and expected something a lot larger. The day we arrived was very warm so I pressed the on button to operate the air conditioning....... But It did not work! We opened the window instead, then from about 11pm we endured the door banging punishment; this consisted of the constant slamming of doors (literally every five minutes). This horrendous noise kept us awake the majority of the night (and the nights to come). It seemed as though any guest that checked in were all put on the same hallway despite the hotel not being fully booked. We notified the staff the next morning about the lack of air conditioning and were informed it was infant BROKEN! Which had been the case since last week and they did not know when the engineer was coming to fix it! However they moved our room (which we thought meant perhaps the new rooms air conditioning may work) - NO! We were wrong so we were then kindly supplied with a fan that's noise kept us up. After not sleeping the majority of the night we came down to relax in the very "large" pool area - which consisted of ten deckchairs with no cushions!5 in the shade all day and 5 in the sun with no room to move. ||We were contemplating eating the breakfast at the hotel, but when we viewed the choice given we re considered and opted for the local bakery adjacent which was very nice.||Dinner- not recommended! Nice staff though.||Absolutely nothing to do in this part of Aubagne, no activities, walks etc..... Similar to Alcatraz I expect ! ||Synopsis:||Nice staff, prison cell rooms, food unsatisfactory, non relaxing rooms due to the levels of noise created, paper thin walls and lack of air conditioning, unhygienic pool.|
