Great market with tons of local products and an authentic vibe. Take the time to immerse yourself into the French culture and discover the many gems French food has to offer.
Great market with local "bigorre" products, vegetables, meat,... on Thursday morning, quite big, the building "Baltar" iron type, is dated 1883, impressive, nice fountains outside... Be aware that thousands of people come to buy to hundreds of producers... Parking on these days is difficult!
The Thursday morning market of Tarbes is legendary in the South West of France! People come from far and wide to this market. The produce is diverse and there are all the specialties of the region there. Besides the food market inside and in close proximity of the Halle, there are clothes and homewares in the Place Marcadieu. Also, in the Place Forail just a minutes walk to the south, there are livestock and plants for sale as well as a flea market. The market starts around six thirty (depending on vendors) and winds up by around one in the afternoon. Parking in Tarbes can be difficult, but if you park a little bit away from the market you should find a space.
Good location... Just a walk from centre, Place du Verdun... You could buy all your weekly supplies here
The old school market experience, some unique products can be found for breads, cakes and general butchery.
Alive, local products, a very well maintained market building, you need to go and visit even if you don't buy
Fresh vegetables and groceries on Thursdays....used clothing and some fashion stuff on Saturdays...
My friend gets given extra oranges from a kind elderly shop owner when she buys leeks in this market
