Have mixed feelings about my holiday, Arrived at 10am and nice English speaking receptionist gave us room straight away and sheets and towels, room a little musty but clean, last week it was so quiet and hot, no complaints there, but restaurant on site closed, if you walk up the beach for 5 mins though lovely bar and restaurant and some staff speak English too.|Swimming pool had no sunbeds out for a few days, but lovely clean and generally we were the only ones there, when 8 beds were put out we were still only ones there. Was 2nd pool but half empty and dirty so cut off. Beach is amazing and quiet, no sunbeds there.|My advice, if you want to brush up on your french it's perfect 90 % do not speak English at all so work it, Hire a car, taxis are very expensive and always late, buses rare |Supermarket 5 mins up road is great everything you need, very friendly everyone was friendly, really good bar next door, Mateus was lovely man very helpful food good and cheap.|Would I go back yes, but other side of the island, home now very relaxed and glad I went |You will need loo roll, few in room but not enough for a week. I took washing up stuff with me and tea, coffee, fridge freezer was new and hob and microwave clean.|Watch out for big ants they bite, mosquitos around and many spiders as located in forest

We spent 2 weeks there. The location is great but you need a car to explore the island. Adonis is right on the beach, wild & natural. You can't see this beach from the road so it's never crowded. The pool was great, the whole residence was well kept, very quiet. Tennis, swimming pool, you can borrow bbq & umbrellas from the reception. The staff was really welcoming! Any issues you ask they fix! Also the staff from the snack/restaurant work so hard, long hours & keep smiling & make you feel at home. The deco inside the accomodation is dated as people say but really basic & functional. The rooms are spacious enough, the kitchen well equipped, outdoor dining area....everything you need! We loved our stay & don't listen to mean comments!

very very nice pleasant long sandy beach, just there, you can get off your bed and into the sea! small apartments. We did not need to rent linens, unlike what some reviewers have stated here. Nice apartment, furniture a bit run down. Cleanliness seems to depend on whom has occupied the apartment before, but people at reception are really helpful and timely with all you need.plenty of parking (free), plenty of precious shadow. air conditioning working well. wifi in the apartment, but hard to catch line at some hours, as predictable in such places. just off the village (2 min walking) there are supermarket, bakery and also a caterer offering ready meals you can bring home.||a great place, overall

It was a dissapointment to stay here. We booked a superior Apartment with 2 bed rooms. You have to Rent towels and linnens. Make your own bed, no cleaning of the Apartment - which was not so clean when we arrived. It is for Familys, but don't think hotel - more camping area/bungalows. The pool had an access system, which was useless siince many local teenagers used the pool area at their convenience. The best thing about this place was the Beach location - the beach is great.

Inexpensive resort with minimal service. Great location right on the beach and near supermarket. Villas are clean and well equipped with fridge, cooking plate and dishwasher. Beds are not so comfortable and appliances may be noisy. We liked the layout of each villa and quietness.

A disappointing stay. The rooms are very basic and dated The wifi does not work and the swimming pool is noisy with very few sun loungers and a rough stony beach. This is not value for money. The one good thing about the room is the aircon. The bathrooms have no hooks or towel rails - this would be a simple thing to bring this to a 3 star but sadly some of the very basics are missing.||||You can take a taxi from the airport to this residence and it will cost you 40 Euros. There is a bus 2x per day to Bastia but really you need to hire a car to get around. On a Sunday, the supermarkets are closed and the only open restaurant is a local pizza restaurant which is not good. Bring your own toilet paper as this is not provided. (we arrived on a Sunday with no shops open). ||||I would not recommend staying at the top of the island as the beaches are not as clear, sandy or well appointed as other parts of the island.

This is a big site of individual self catering holiday apartments just off the beach, which is a long, clean, white sandy beach with just a couple of small bars/restaurants. Our apartment was well appointed with a galley kitchen, including dishwasher, microwave, hob and even a coffee percolator. There are a few shops just next door, including a bakery, pharmacist, tabac, cafe-bar, and medium-sized supermarket. In a short drive or medium walk there are a couple of pizzerias. Everything else is a drive away and we'd recommend hiring a car at the airport which is just 15 mins easy drive away. The only downside for the hotel is that the wifi is really poor - it only worked four or five days out of fourteen. It was also a pity that the complex's own bar/restaurant was closed whilst we were there, in the first two weeks of September. Nearby, in 10 mins drive, is a fascinating medieval church sited within a Roman archeological site that is open to the public for free and worth a short visit. Also you are in an easy drive of a rail station to join the fabulous Corsican railway. Further afield, Bastia, St Florent, and Corte are lovely towns to visit and each is within a day trip to drive.

We were only there for a 3 night stay - wish it was longer. Beautiful, peaceful location with large, very clean pool and access to long sandy beach. Few bars and restaurants nearby. We got a taxi into Bastia, 35-40 euros. If there longer, we would have needed to hire a car to see more of the island. There is plenty of free parking and free Wi-Fi at reception. Very helpful on reception and I was relieved someone spoke English as my French is a bit rusty. Would definitely stay there again if I return to Corsica.
