We visited on the way from Magny-Cours to Calais. This great little roadside hotel along the N7 just South of Montargis proved a perfect stop-over. The hotel is very easy to find and there is lots of parking, especially around the back. The staff are very friendly and speak excellent English. The hotel is styled in the fashion of a museum of classic auto-routes and this gives it some charm. The rooms are basic but comfortable. There is a kettle and tea and the shower is excellent with good pressure. The breakfast is excellent with a good selection including fresh pastries and some cooked bacon and eggs. Near the hotel, there is a new (opened in the past few weeks) and excellent Italian restaurant ~2km North and an automatic Total fuel station 2km South.
Very good hotel, clean and rooms are sufficient big. The guy who is managing the hotel, Patrick , is a very nice guy and he always has good attitude. We stayed there for few months and it was a very nice stay
Arrived a few days before Christmas in what we thought was going to be a quiet time but the Hotel seemed very busy. Although the hotel is isolated there is a very large carpark and the greeting was very warm and welcoming from the lady on reception. The rooms are all very modern, large and clean with all facilities. One of the most comfortable beds we have slept on in a hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant attached to the hotel was closed and we were recommended to drive a couple of miles down the road to an excellent restaurant. A very good breakfast with plenty of choice in a unusually but fun decorated room. It was such a good experience that we booked again for our return journey in early January and were not disappointed. This time the attached restaurant was open so made a perfect night. Would recommend.
Perfect fresh cheese for a breakfast and comfortable bed for sleeping 💚
This was a great experience at a highway hotel. Most of them all look the same. This one used to be a garage. The owner loves vintage cars and themed the entire hotel with it. They have beautiful classics in their lobby which are in pristine state. They also decorated the hotel with retro car garage props. The rooms are modest but clean. The manager was super friendly.
A quirky conversion of a garage into a motel. Has classic cars in the cafe and the place very much has a theme around it’s situation on a classic pre autoroute road. Rooms were immaculate and had everything you needed and nothing you didn’t. Above all, the lady and what I suspect was her daughter who run the place were really welcoming. A little anecdote was that I went to dinner wearing my coat. The staff overheard me tell a friend that my room was a little cold.....they insisted on checking my room and ensuring I was comfortable. This was genuine concern.....and very nice. A great stopover place - recommended! Ps the lady in charge speaks great English!
Met by a by friendly and helpful male receptionist. The room was very clean and suitable for our needs....a good nights sleep en-route from France to Germany. All the rooms and areas are "motor car" themed which was quite interesting and unusual, especially sitting next to an old but immaculate Renault during dinner and breakfast.||Dinner was very basic and limited but served by a friendly/happy waitress. Breakfast was also adequate but set us up for the day. All in all a satisfactory stay and a place I would use again.
This was an unexpected stop due to a car breakdown. The hotel was selected by the breakdown insurance company. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful allowing us to stay in our room after normal checkout until the car was fixed.||The room was comfortable and spacious with a nice bathroom and decent WiFi. The evening restaurant offered a limited, but adequate menu and the food was interesting and tasty. The breakfast offered a wide selection of both hot and cold items.||The only downside was that if you didn't have a car then there was nowhere within walking distance, but to be fair you wouldn't really be staying there without transport unless you had the same problem as us!
