Re: Grand Maison (3 Bedroom) A quirky and spacious property with lots of character. I loved it! Some great things; - The host Hubert was a delight - MASSIVE bath - Shower is good (and decent pressure) - Heating was very good and kept us warm - Well equipped kitchen - Easy 35 minute walk into the main part of town where the Christmas markets were (flat, straight line) - Decent wi-fi and mobile service Hubert is a great host and this would be a five star review apart from: - The lack of a proper EV charger as advertised (it was an outdoor plug to use a granny charger) - The size of the car park when all three properties have a car; on several occasions we had to nip out and move the cars around so people could go out / we could get out later. Also to note, there is no pony anymore… it died a couple of months ago (this did contribute to picking this property as the kid loves horses).

We stayed in the cottage which has a very steep staircase (almost a ladder) to the bedroom. The bedroom and TV sitting room are in the roof, with very little headroom. In three nights was didn't use the TV room at all. The downstairs living/kitchen area is fine, although over cluttered. The bathroom OK but the shower is over the bath and it is large step up and over. ||We do not recommend this property unless you are young and agile. We are in our mid 60s and relatively fit but we found going up and down the ladder uncomfortable and awkward. The property is also not particularity handy to the centre of Amiens or to any nearby shops. There were no boat or kayaks, unless you include the dingy which was half full of water. Off street parking was OK but not easy to egress from the property safely.

Hubert est un hote attentif avec de l'humour et une profonde bienveillance. Son gîte est absolument magnifique et très confortable. De plus la possibilité de prendre la barque pour aller faire un tour sur l'eau est un vrai plus ! Un grand merci pour ce superbe séjour !

Quel magnifique séjour ! Hubert est un hôte incroyable, très accueillant, drôle, serviable et généreux, et en même temps discret. Il aime les gens et ça se ressent dès le premier instant. Il a largement contribué à rendre notre séjour incroyable. Nous avions la petite maison, magnifiquement agencée et équipée. Nous y étions comme dans un cocon. Le jardin de Hubert est en plein cœur des hortillonnages et c'est un vrai bijou. Hubert met à disposition une barque et des vélos. Le chemin de halage est à 5 minutes pour rejoindre le centre ville en quelques coups de pédales, un vrai bonheur. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et copieux. Vous l'aurez compris, le lieu est exceptionnel. Une réelle parenthèse comme son nom l'indique.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Garten ist ein Traum, umgeben von Wasserstraßen, Natur pur, wunderschön. Hubert ist ein klasse Gastgeber, sehr nett und fürsorglich. Das Frühstück war lecker mit dem besten Baguette und viel frischem Obst. Empfehlung!

Merci pour cette parenthèse enchantée dans ce magnifique écrin de verdure, votre jardin est incroyable tout comme l atelier. Tout est décoré avec goût, les équipements sont parfaits (barque, vélos), on se sent à la maison. Vous êtes un hôte formidable, merci d avoir pris le temps d échanger avec nous. Nous avons adoré notre week end. L emplacement est idéal pour visiter Amiens, les hortillonnages … et au calme !
