Nice place, clean and well equipped. Great breakfast. The Spa was great but could get very busy and noisy with children using it as a waterpark. I also noticed that there was a women only section in the spa but I couldn't find the Men only section.

This place was recommended as the better hotel nearby. My review is that it was adequate. The spa is 45 Euros a day, but I am not sure you go to this hotel just for the spa rather for other reasons. So the amount is too high for hotel guests. I did use the service once, but not all areas were available. So it was an expensive swim in a outdoor pool that has seen better days! On the plus side the room was clean, very basic and staff in eating areas are very pleasant. There are electric charging points for the car on site, which was good.

Rooms were nice. Front desk was helpful and spoke good english, even when they weren’t so confident. Area in general was OK, and interesting vibe for our honeymoon, Definitely authentic France. It rained quite a bit, but that’s to be expected in early May. Pretty good bus access so it’s easy to get into town. Biggest problem was the hotel Wi-Fi not working. I told the front desk and left my name but they never got back to me, it was a big inconvenience as we were international travelers with limited data. Breakfast was really good. We didn’t end up going to the spa.

Excellent hotel and spa. From the moment I arrived all the team I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I really appreciated how calm and proactive they were— nothing ever felt like an inconvenience. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Away with work for a couple of nights, and the hotel had everything needed.||Fantastic food. The service was excellent throughout the hotel, and on the few hours downtime, the use of the Pool/Spa is one of the best i've been to. ||If we are back in Lyon again, I won't be looking for any other hotel.

Location is beautiful but not much nearby and no helpful transport links. Pillows were not the best, and for the level of hotel this is the toilet paper is very cheap! I did, however get a bath which was lovely. Bed was comfy also. Reception staff were especially helpful, and all other staff were friendly and said bonjour every time!

While the property carries a 4-star rating, the overall experience aligns more closely with a 3-star offering. The hotel’s facilities, particularly the rooms and breakfast area, feel dated and would benefit from a thoughtful refurbishment to bring them up to modern expectations. Service delivery was inconsistent. A more welcoming and customer-centric approach from the staff would significantly enhance the guest experience. At check-in, I was unexpectedly asked to authorise an additional €100 per night. No clear justification was provided beyond a vague comment about ensuring guests have sufficient funds, which did not inspire confidence. Breakfast was adequate but unremarkable. It does the job, but it doesn’t elevate the stay in any meaningful way. Given the overall condition of the hotel and the level of service provided, the price-to-value ratio falls below par. With some investment and a renewed focus on hospitality, the hotel could more credibly deliver on its stated star rating. Also wifi is definitely something to work on ASAP.
