A foundation that perfectly captures the essence of French culture. A truly unique experience. Even if you stay in hotels that cost between 250 to 300 euros a night, you'll find this place to be something else entirely. It’s a bit like a military camp:) There's no outside service; everything is provided from within—repairs, cooking, cleaning, socializing—you name it. The team is incredibly helpful and doesn’t charge you for services they don't provide. We accidentally booked a day in advance on Booking, due to a mix-up and last-minute planning. Yet, they didn’t charge us and instead welcomed us on the day we arrived. What’s more, when I mentioned that I might not eat a particular dish that was being prepared, the manager made a grand gesture by offering to cook a meal I would enjoy. The staff works on a volunteer basis. It's a place where people of all ages—whether searching for life’s purpose, love, or new horizons—can stay together. The view is breathtaking. Romantic… Following the signs is a breeze for any driver, as the name of the place is clearly indicated. We stayed in a tent, along with many strangers. It was a wonderful experience. Would I go back? Without a doubt. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, without hesitation. Don’t think twice—experience it!

this hostel is run by volunteers which draws the traveler into its daily flow. around 30min from the beach and 45min from the town center. beautiful view and a nice “travel” atmosphere.

Staff was super helpful and friendly; they have your best interest at heart. Personally my first time staying in an ‘auberge’, and i really enjoyed the experience. Met really nice and interesting people there ! The bed was comfortable and the all the areas are clean (toilets etc). Breakfast included is such a good deal ! You get to enjoy the view and fresh air :) Sad i arrived too late and could not have dinner there, heard food was great ! Only thing i wish was a better: the shower. It’s decent, have both cold and hot water and does the job but that’s what i liked the least during my one night stay, based on my preferences. To finish, just be prepared and go there with the right mindset ! It’s really value for money and the view you get there is incredible :) Have fun meeting new people and make the most out of it !

Hostel relais international Cons: Bed was incredibly noisy and woke everyone up whenever I moved. Also felt a bit like a hammock. No WiFi in room Showers smelt bad. Only one shower room with two showers one of which was broken Staff have minimal English Pillows not enough and too flimsy Bedding was itchy Parking was sometimes difficult and cars got blocked in Off road sat nav warning needed cos we ended up off piste and nearly got the car stuck. Disorganised booking system, Airport pickup advertised on agoda doesn’t exist, Friends booking was lost. Balcony had only one chair Lack of info about fridges, drinking water etc... No soap in bathrooms, dispenser was empty. Pros: Really nice big balcony with two tables Shower had plenty of water and good pressure. Good social atmosphere Good location The beach at Calvi is great

In one word - amazing. It's very high up but hey, you get a nice view :)

Cheap affordable stay. Great view. Amazing ambiance and great, respectable management. Definitely recommended for families and travelers willing to meet people.
