PIETRERA

This was one of our favourite wineries we stopped at while on our honeymoon in Corsica. The wines are delicious and the owner was so kind in explaining each one. We had a fabulous time and left with more bottles than we had planned on buying! If the owner sees this message, we would love to know how long to age this red pisè? When would be best to open it?

We had a wonderful time. The wines were amazing, and Lorraine gave a fantastic tour and explanation of the winery’s history. The kids even got a chance to try dipping the bottles in wax, which they do by hand. A great stop on our road trip across Corsica.

Great place to buy local wine! It makes a difference if you can taste on-site, and hear the history of the product presented by a member of the owners family. I love to buy wine at the source and knowing where it comes from.

A highlight of our time in Corsica. Very special to have Pierre the owner and winemaker explain each wine, the process that goes into producing and even explaining the creativity of the labels that his son has created for each bottle. Very special experience by such a passionate and kind individual. A must stop!

Just drove in on our way from Porte Veccio to Calve to give it a last try to find a good red that we would like after our two weeks trip in Korsika. We got a warm welcome from by the owner. She had a cool tasting room with perfect tempersted wines. The red were the best we tasted in Korsika. Thank you very much!

Just like some of the other reviews, the lady in the shop (sorry I cannot remember her name) was so warm and welcoming. She was very passionate about the vineyard. Thank you so much. The wines we samples were fantastic. I'm sure with such a range there is truly a wine to suit every taste. Can't wait for the website to become active to order more of this fantastic wine. My personal favourite was the 'les Tontons trinqueurs' rosè.

Une visite inoubliable au domaine E Petre ! Un accueil chaleureux et authentique de la part de Loraine, qui nous a offert de précieuses explications et conseils lors de la dégustation. Nous avons également eu le plaisir de croiser Pierre, son fils et les employés du domaine, tous passionnés et disponibles pour partager leur savoir-faire. Leur présentation, de la récolte à la mise en bouteilles, permet de mieux comprendre tout le travail et la passion qui se cachent derrière chaque cuvée. Un lieu où l’on se sent immédiatement bien et où la qualité des produits est à la hauteur de la qualité humaine. Je recommande vivement cette belle découverte !
