Fantastic museum giving lots of information on the sad history of the camp. It is really great that the site was saved from destruction and serves to teach others what happened there. The museum is also nicely air conditioned so a nice respite on a hot day. Recommended.

Such an emotional experience. Very efficiently organised and a lot of time & expense has gone into vivid displays that well explain that dark time in history. I just felt that explanations should also be in English not just for the benefit of visitors from the UK but many other nationalities whose first language is not French or Spanish. This is a must for those visiting the area

Stonishing place. What starts as a refugee camp for Spaniards and Catalans becomes a concentration camp for Gipsy and Jewish from the rest of Europe on the latest 30's from last century. Walking around the debris pavillions and imagine what the people been thru keeps you speechless. Part of our history that needs to be remembered.

The 4 short videos should have english subtitles. It is easy to generate them using AI. Also it is not clear why the guide don't walk with the group along the camp path: all the explanation was in a single spot.

Very well designed memorial with an interesting, informative museum. Highly recommended.

A difficult history, very well presented. Displays in French. The updated histories of individuals, the map of their movements, internment, escapes and the diary of the time is an excellent addition.

very good exhibition but everything is in french only.i would of liked to of seen a reconstructed building allowing guest to have walked inside and to experienced the cramp conditions and it would be nice to see tge graffiti removed from the ruins.
