We had a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel. These magnificent ladies run a friendly, calm and welcoming hotel. It is spotlessly clean and nothing is too much trouble.

We had an impromptu stay here earlier this month when we got a flat car tire whilst exploring the island. I think the photos speak for themselves but I can say the warm greeting we received from Marie on reception was the cherry on the cake! It was also great to have excellent WiFi speed/connection and a very modern TV in the room. The wine in the mini bar was inexpensive in comparison to general minibar costs and very drinkable!

A beautiful hotel situated almost on a great beach )you need to cross a railway line but the (slow) trains only pass a few times a day. Our stay was perfect so we just want to highlight 2 points. First, the staff were all extremely welcoming. A particular shout out to the ladies who served us at breakfast and on reception, who couldn’t have done more to look after us. Second, the breakfasts. We see a few other reviewers have been critical and, yes, they are relatively expensive, so if you just want coffee and a croissant probably go somewhere else. But otherwise they aren’t to be missed. Different and imaginative smoothies every day, a great range of breads, home made yoghurt and much else. So for us it was definitely worth the price. And as others have noted, while it doesn’t have its own restaurant for dinner, there are lots of excellent ones nearby.

Highly recommend. The location is perfect, 1 minute walk to the best part of the beach, 5 mins walk to the centre. Service is excellent and the rooms are comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I have just come back from a week's stay at the Hotel Liberata. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend the hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and a big thank you to Amanda who greeted us on our first night and gave us a list of very good restaurants which we made good use of. The breakfast was perfect too. The venue of Lle Rousse was excellent. We hired a car and visited Calvi, Porto, Bastia, Porto Vecchio, Bonifaccio, St Floret and Corte as well as many smaller villages. We spent some nights in the beautiful hotel that is located right next to the beach. Our room was very spacious and offered a nice sea view. Every morning the very friendly staff served us smoothies for breakfast and the buffet was full of tasty cheese, bread, cakes and more.

The all female staff were so welcoming and helpful, from the ladies on reception, to the chatty breakfast ladies and the bedroom cleaners: we really felt at home here.||We had our breakfast every day on the balcony and the fresh fruit, smoothies , meats, cheese and scrambled eggs were really good as was the excellent coffee. The hotel has no restaurant but there are lots of good, but pricey, restaurants a few minutes walk away.||Our room was large and spotless and we had a nice balcony overlooking the sea.||I have marked the hotel down a point for two reasons. We only had French television in our room for the 10 days we were there which was very annoying as our visit coincided with the Queen's funeral in London. There was no other language at all available. The staff kept telling us they were working on the problem but it still had not been resolved when we left.||The other reason is that if you want to go on the beach on a sunbed under an umbrella you have to pay 30 euros a day for 2 people which can soon ratchet up over a few days. The alternative is the public beach which is very close but it is not ideal for elderly people to sit on a towel on the sand all day. It would really help if the hotel could do a deal with one of the beach owners to at least have a discount on the prices for their clients.||Nevertheless the Liberata must be a first choice if you want a quiet and welcoming stay in Ile Rousse.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful people! They have helped us with information, restaurant's reservation , anything you need they can help you . The rooms are big and beautiful decorated, everything is spotless clean and the location couldn't be better, in front of the beach and close to everything .
