Great place for skiing and enjoying a walk in the mountains. Chatel is one of the greatest authentic mountain villages, charming and easily accessible. The facilities at CGH were superb, close to both the centre of village and with a magnificent view over the valley Staff was very friendly, with sauna, swimming pool and hammam to relax. We had a wonderful time

This is a lovely complex with great Spa facilities . We had one bedroom apartment with three people staying . We had enough space but wouldn’t fancy having four . |It’s 10-15 min walk up the road but you can get bus , it’s not as bad as people make out . Ski bus every 15 mins in the morning|We used the bakery delivery which was lovely and fresh and sensibly priced

There wasn’t cleaned very well when we got our room. The service in the reception was fine:)

The parking garage is 2.00m and no GPL allowed. Which means if you can’t fit your vehicle you need to be early cause there are just so many places outdoors and parking inside costs €80 per week. The rooms are big, with everything you could want (unless you want a bath tub). The service team is very nice and helpful. You can order bread which they will hang in a bag on your door. You can use the app Pysae to follow the local buses, the apartments are located next to line 3. We are staying here outside the vacation periods and we have to skip a bus sometimes because it is full and wait for the next, which is a small downside of the location. Other than that, the only thing you need to worry about are the other hotel guests which might not behave and is becoming a growing issue with the disappearance of standards.

Great stay in the hotel, location isn’t perfect but the free bus balances this. Great service, clean, friendly personnel, spa included.

The front desk staff were very nice and the apartment was okay.||The issues that we had were:||- the WiFi was non-existent. None of us managed to connect all week and we were told that this was a problem with the exchange rather than the apartment block. This didn't ring true as we had friends in the village whose service was fine. So if you are with teens, expect a large data bill|- take your own pillows. The pillows provided barely deserved the term “pillows”, being tiny and without shape or support|- take your own towels; those provided had seen better days|-showers; the flow was weak in both|- hot water. At peak times, i.e. the morning and after skiing, we struggled to get hot water. I was told that this was due to demand. if you are going to build an apartment complex, one of your key services is hot water|- oven. There were no instructions.

This is the perfect place if you want to combine sport activities and relaxation. The residence is close to the village (10 min. walk) but you can also choose to take the bus which stop directly at the residence. The pool, sauna and Turkish bath are amazing and there is a solarium if you want to lay down outside with view on the mountain. There is a fitness room with all equipment you need. Though these are appartments, there is a reception which is open every day few hours in the morning and late afternoon. Staff is very friendly. The residence and appartments are decorated with a lot of taste (mountain vibe). We look forward to going there again in the winter.
