BOUNACEUR SLIMANE

My wife and I spent 5 days here at Olivier’s property last week. The room is very spacious, and clean. However, due to the large size, a king size bed would be more welcome! In addition, a mini-fridge, safe and a few more touches would have been welcome. The bathroom is nice and roomy, great towels and water pressure, but bring your own shampoo as none is provided. Two small bottles of Rituals shower gel were provided. The outdoor, pool area is fantastic. With a lovely view to Calvi and the ocean, and lots of room to lounge in and out of the sun. Breakfast is adequate, albeit pretty much the same every day. I believe you can special order eggs etc, but we stuck with what was offered; coffee, fruit, yogurt and a few breads and juice. We travel extensively and I feel a bit leery of saying that one minor problem is the lack of ability to communicate with Olivier. He is a very gracious host, but our lack of French and his lack of English made it difficult to really communicate with him. Normally, all over the world, people in the hospitality sector strive to speak some English, which is our second language, however that is not the case at Villa Limone. All in all a pleasant stay.

Great location for exploring the Balange region of Corsica, better, I think than central Calvi which is best appreciated from a distance. Lovely pool and terrace, spacious rooms, well-appointed en-suites. Breakfast is fine. Olivier is a considerate host who communicates well before the stay and offers discrete advice if you ask for it when during your stay. I recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Olivier’s place! Clean, spacious and nicely equipped rooms. Garden and pool are an oasis of relax - with a lot of attention of detail. Great breakfast with home made jams and fresh fruits! Thanks Olivier - we will be happy to be back.

During our recent trip to Corsica we stayed for three nights at this B&B close to Calvi.||Our room was furnished in a modern way but the mattress was uncomfortable, as too soft.||For breakfast the hosts offered each day exactly the same. One glass of juice, one kind of bread, jam and a jogurt. ||There is a pool in the nice garden which you could use to relax.||The owner of the guest house did not show up in person, just a young woman that did not show that much interest in the guests, especially if you are not able of speaking french fluently.||||Overall the guest house has a lot of potential but lacks a little bit of engagement of the hosts.

Très agréable séjour dans un havre de paix. Grande chambre avec très belle salle de bain. Piscine avec belle terrasse joliment meublée et superbe vue sur le grand jardin de citronniers et la baie de Calvi. Petit déjeuner top avec entre autre d'excellentes confitures maison et l'occasion d'échanges très agréables avec Olivier, ses anecdotes et ses bons conseils.
