Great place to visit if you are in any way interested in politics or the European Union. The day we went (mid September) it was not busy and didn’t have to wait anywhere. Don’t forget to bring your passport since there is a hefty security check. Entry is free and you don’t have to book in advance.

A fascinating place to visit - the self guided tour is very informative and lets you see some of the key areas of the building. I left with a lot more knowledge than when I arrived! The interactive audio guide inside is great too.

Definitely worth visiting, the entry is free and also a free audio guide available when visiting the plenary hall. You need to have your passport with you, driving license is not accepted.

Visiting the European Parliament in Strasbourg is a truly enlightening experience that highlights the best of European democracy and unity. Been there for my second time as a teacher for Euroscola sessions. The Louise Weiss building is an architectural masterpiece, blending modern aesthetics with a sense of historical significance that is visible from every angle. Stepping inside the Hemicycle is breathtaking, as you get to see exactly where the crucial plenary sessions and transnational debates take place. I was particularly impressed by the high-tech multimedia guides, which made the complex legislative process easy to understand in 24 different languages. The staff is exceptionally professional and welcoming, ensuring that the entire visit is both safe and highly educational for all ages.

Excellent experience. Would highly recommend a visit if the opportunity arises. So interesting and informative. Inspiring too.

Visiting the European Parliament in Strasbourg is generally a smooth and enjoyable experience. Access to the building is straightforward, with clear security procedures such as checking IDs. Once inside, visitors are guided by well-marked signs, making it easy to follow the tour path. The architecture of the building is striking and modern, adding to the overall experience of seeing a key European institution up close. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about how the EU functions and to explore an impressive space.

It made me very happy entering this place. I have found many interesting historical photographs. I made a small break in the cafeteria, then made some more pictures of myself with all 27 flags and I got interesting informations about the upcoming European elections. I have just one small note: The souvenir shop was almost empty. I could barely find any thing to buy. You should pay attention to it. United in diversity! 🇪🇺

Wonderful place to visit in Straßbourg. The entrance was very easy with ID-Card. From the rooftop, you can overlook the whole city and all of its important monuments. Inside the building are nice exhibitions focused on the EU, the current council presidency, Louise Weiss, and even seasonal projects like artworks from European youth. You get an audio guide and can play around with many installations to learn more about the EU. There is even a café and many interesting magazines to take home for free. A must on any trip to Straßburg 🇪🇺
