Very cool old castle in a beautiful town. I highly recommend taking a day to tour Pontivy and the Castle!
Very nice historic place to visit. Unfortunately you can't go in cos the doors are locked. You could do a Photoshoot for wedding pictures , I have seen people doing that. Can't go wrong if you visited and walked around if you're in Pontivy.
Would have liked to have looked around this castle, but it was closed for renovation work.
When we visited it was closed. There was a tor guide showing visitors around the site.
Unfortunately closed for renovations but a nice walk around the outside.
Beautiful presentation, especially from river side.Nice medieval town centre with lots of premises offering refreshments. Worth visiting. Castle also worth a visit to be see original decor and furnishings ending with a trip to the toy museum , populated with toys of the family children.
It was under renovation, but still incredible to see.
