Superb pizza right near the port in the old town. Excellent food including a wide choice of delicious vegetarian options. We had 2 delicious pizzas, lovely cocktails then amazing panna cotta and a chocolate mousse for dessert. Very friendly helpful staff and excellent service. Highly recommended.

I was recommended by a friend to try out Nonno Leo's, and it was amazing ! I got the Pesto Rosso (with olives) and it was delicious. The pizza dough is amazing, with a delicious oak fire taste. The restaurant is a bit small, but super cosy :))

I ordered with UberEats a Carciofi Napolitan Pizza 🍕, a Lemonade and a Tiramisu at Nonno Leo Pizzeria. I must confess that I was quite disappointed with tonight's order. The expensive 16,90€ Pizza 🍕 was delivered more than an hour after the order was placed and came cold. Have to add that the Pizza 🍕 had nothing to do with a true Napolitan Pizza 🍕; no thin crust nore thick extoriors.The 14€ Tiramisu had no texture or any coffee flavor to it. Moreover, the time of order preparation on the UberEat's delivery ticket was grosselly scratched out twice for different times (initially 7:49 / 8:00 / 8:19 / 8:09). To finish off, they stick a little note on the Pizza box explaining to people how to heat your Pizza 🍕 in the oven. What happens to people that order a Pizza 🍕 and have no oven to heat the pizza in (my case) ? Basically, I would not recommend this place to anyone or maybe as a simple bar for a Lemonade or a soda pop. The Lemonade that they didnt make was the only thing I enjoyed. I stay with the feeling I got ripped off and was invited to a cold diner this saturday night.

Great to find somewhere that does gluten free! Lovely little restaurant hidden away in the street of La Rochelle. My husband had the gluten free pizza base with the Nono Léo chef’s choice of toppings & I had the Burrato pizza, both were really good, very friendly & helpful staff.

Delicious pizza in a low-key setting with friendly and attentive wait staff. All for a reasonable price. Limited menu: these folks stick with what they do best. Despite many customers to serve, staff stays calm and cool. And Romeo’s ice cream bars were just the right dessert. Very pleasant experience!

I'd give them 6 stars if i could. The space is cosy, the staff is so so gentle and welcoming, and the food... is just divine.

Nice experience but the pizzas were so thin that you could not really eat them cus they were really instable.
