This hotel is just a basic bed and shower with decent fresh continental breakfast. Let's face it there isn't a lot to do around the surrounding areas so they're not going to spend thousands of euros making this place perfection when they arnt really going to gain holiday type guests. The room was decent enough. ||Standard Double bed. ||Dressing table ||Tv||Wardrobe. ||||Bathroom had toilet,sink, bath, shower over the bath large mirror and hairdryer.||All the basics needed. ||Rooms are quite nice with the way the building is actually built. High ceilings upto the ridge. The balcony was very tired and actually felt a little dodgy. This place isn't best for toddlers as there's water totally surrounding the hotel. We had a ground floor bed. My auntie had a room with a mezzanine which was a definite no no for young children. DEFINITE NO NO.!||Hotel only has maybe 20 rooms and is nice and quiet. The bar was under renovation so can't comment on that but breakfast was lovely. Croissants, pain au chocolate, ham, cheese, toast, yogurts, fruit, fresh bread and more. Freshly squeezed orange, teas and numerous coffee. Couldn't fault it.||I stayed here as it was nearest to our destination and if I was returning to the same destination I'd stay again. But other than that, ballancourt just isn't a tourist destination for me. Albeit a lovely and peaceful place. If it's close to your destination definitely stay there.||Just needs a little touching up here and there. But it's mainly only cosmetic.

Lovely and affordable accommodations along the peaceful River Essonne in Ballancourt... The rooms are spacious and open up to great views with lots of natural light. This is a charming older hotel and they offer a light breakfast to get you started. You can lay out on the peninsula among the Swans and their Cygnets and the ducks.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was far from clean—there was no proper soap in the bathroom, just a nearly empty bottle of liquid soap. Many parts of the bathroom looked poorly maintained, with excessive caulking used as a quick fix. There were no basic amenities like a glass, chair, or sofa, just a small bed on the first floor. The second floor was clearly not cleaned properly, with spider webs throughout. It was so uncomfortable that we decided to leave the room at 1:30am and find another place to stay. While the balcony overlooking the pond was visually nice, it lacked any safety measures—especially dangerous if you’re traveling with kids. I can understand if an owner chooses not to renovate, but there’s no excuse for offering accommodations in such poor and unsanitary condition. Everything felt used, old, and neglected. Not recommended.

So we got the old one: no AC, no possibility to open windows, just to open the door (it means, anyone can enter your room from the outide) so we closed the door for the night. There was no fresh air. The facilities are simply old and dusty. The bathroom was from medival and the toilet was dirty. I couldn't even say that "but on the other hand, it's good value for money around the Paris" - we simply did not understand by photos what we've booked, there are definitely better options around Paris for the same price.

Very nice hotel, within a 25min walk from the Ballancourt Train station (RER) in the beautiful village of Itteville, full of greenery, lakes, ducks, frogs, birds and fields of flowers and wheat. The rooms are simple but clean and nice, well thought of with lots of space to stock stuff, an office with a window on a lovely natural landscape, and a small wood balcony just a few meters away from the lake - I enjoyed it immensely and regretted not staying a bit longer. I’ve read people complaining about the frog noise during the night, that personally sent me right off to a good night sleep.

Nice hotel, calm and cozy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is simply outstanding - right on the border of a pond, with an excellent view from most of the rooms directly on it. Parking is free outside the hotel, Wi-Fi is free as well. A tasty restaurant is located nearby, which is quite convenient. Renovation works could make this place a 5-star attractive hotel.

Very quiet place. Beautiful surroundings and nature. Room have a little terrasse on the ponds. Birds will welcome you early in the morning. Room is spacious and clean. Enjoy my stay so far

Definitely one of the most romantic places to build a hotel and we were decided to book when we saw the pictures of the lake. The receptionist was very friendly, the room had a nice balcony and we could see the lake from our comfortable bed. However the place needs a serious overhaul. There are signs of wear and tear everywhere. The walls are badly insulated for sound, which contrasts with the quiet setting. Price is also too high. We didn't have breakfast because it was expensive and the breakfast room was ugly.
