This airline is an absolute disaster. My flight from Oran to Hamburg was cancelled only 4 hours before departure, leaving me with no real alternative. I was forced to book a replacement flight that cost me around €500. The company now wants to refund me only €117, which is completely unacceptable. I tried to contact them by email and phone, but I received no reply, and on the phone I had to wait over 25 minutes without any help. Stay far away from this airline. This was the last time I ever book with them
The flight from Biarritz to Paris has been cancelled because of fog. Then I asked the woman working there what I should do. She said, there will be a bus from Biarritz to Peau, I should go down to the entrance hall and coworkers would give us further instructions. I went down. We stood there, no plan, no coworkers, no one helped us. We had no clue. So we went to Air France, and after about 1 hour of waiting a was at the coworkers desk. She said she's sorry, they have another flight that's more important now. Another desk: over the desk was a screen with the words air France - sky priority or something else... The woman gave me tickets from Biarritz to Paris, then from Paris to Amsterdam, and from Amsterdam to Nürnberg. My original tickets were from Biarritz to Paris, then paris to Nürnberg. I asked her why i can't just take the other plane from paris to Nürnberg. It would be quicker and less plane-switches. She said the bus to peau is already gone. (???) I just had enough and took her tickets but it all made no sense. Why should i fly from paris to Amsterdam and THEN to Nürnberg, instead of just directly to Nürnberg? It was possible, the time was there. The worst thing was just that only 3 women were working there for about 100 clueless people that were waiting for hours.... Not enough employees. Not enough help. Not enough brain.
Flights from Frankfurt to Biarritz (connecting via Paris) were ok, on time, nothing special, but also not bad where the flights were on time with luggage arriving without delay meeting in general the minimum expectations (3 out of 5). However, the return trip is a completely different story! First, Air France sent an email two days in advance (only in French) stating that HOP was on strike and that the return flights would potentially be cancelled. Of course they were cancelled the next day and the "solution" was the same flights one day later (which is totally not acceptable due to need to meet further travel requirements).... rating of 1 (and only because you cannot rate 0)... note, we are still waiting to see if we get refunded our tickets and in the meantime they have cancelled the alternative first flight and checked us into the connecting flight (don't ask me for this logic).....
Air France doesn't provide a correct tax invoice for extra bought luggage. Update: Finally after several weeks we got an invoice. Still wondering, if this is a correct invoice - but they did try it ;)
Flight delayed at Fraport Terminal 2 for 2 Hours. Vending machine empty, most of the airport shops were closed. The staff at the boarding gate after some passengers asked for water or access to the lounge, the answer was : there are no discussions . Either you wait or you leave! What a shame “
I have traveled with AirFrance for the first time and it’s my first time ever travelling, unfortunately they somehow managed to lose both of my bags , it’s been more than a week since I‘ve filled the reclamation form and yet nothing has came through, and even calling them and explaining how frustrating it is to wait this long they told me to be more patient , I told them i want a refund for the value of the lost items and their response was :“ After we find your baggages you can submit an invoice with the receipts of the clothes you are going to buy“ , everything else was excellent except their customer support so if your bags are lost then good luck.
