Wow!!!! We went to the springs at the bottom of LA Soufriere, they were nice, and warm, but no real wow factor. This may be different if we had hiked the volcano and went in on the way down, but didn't really impress me. There were also no bathrooms available on site, this may change later in the season, im unsure. We also went to le bain d'amours. Again, beautiful, but only "warm". The Thermes de Bouillante was something I had never experienced in my life. The water is cool under and actually hot on top. Like hot! There is parking just to the side of this, ocean side, plenty of rocks to put your stuff on, water socks are absolutely encouraged, and if you snorkel, bring that too... There are different species of fish swimming around that people don't even know about. This was such a fantastic place, we went twice. Definitely worth going to see and experience ♥️

It is wild to experience that literal "clash" of temperatures. It’s not your typical spa day; it’s much more of a raw, natural phenomenon. That water isn't just "warm": it’s coming straight from the geothermal activity of the volcano. When it pipes out into the sea, you get that bizarre sensation of your feet being in a hot tub while the rest of your body is in the cool Caribbean ocean.

So glad to have came, it’s a pebble beach so if you have fancy feet like me, bring water shoes. This is exceptional especially if you have skin issues or arthritis issues. We found easy parking and there was a small restaurant/cafe less than 5 minutes walk. I loved the fact the water would be warm and then cool slightly in waves. I’m not a strong swimmer and I’ve was fine.

Fun activity. River ends in the ocean with water at around 40C. Locals and tourists all mix in a joyful crowd.

Sit in the ocean and enjoy hot thermal water and the sunset at the same time. It was amazing.

There was no war water whatsoever. People were paying to park their cars just to find there is nothing to hear. “Scam” was the common word

If you are looking for a nice hot bath in the open sea heated through the Volcano this would be the ideal spot on Guadeloupe. The cool part is that the water is mixed so at a certain moment you feel colder water on the lower part of your body and warm water at the top. The sulfur smell is something you need to get used too, the great part is that due to the mixing with the sea water the sulfur does not stain your clothes. Beware when wearing silver and/or certain metals when entering the water, these will probably turn black. Gold (yellow or white) is not a problem!
