2nd stay at this venue. Superb for a stop over on-route. Extreemly clean, well equipped and comfortable accomodation and facilities including the pool. Shame this time the Jacuzzi was unavailable due to maintenance. Friendly and polite staff. Very reasonably priced and would highly recommend. Easy access to La Rochelle

this is said to be a 4 star campsite but for me its more like 3 star the mobile homes are way too close together with just enough room for the car, leaving no playing area at the mobile. there was a constant smell of waste water. the site was kept very clean and tidy and the reception and grounds staff were very nice, unlike the bar/restaurant staff who were very off hand. there are 4 bbqs available for people to use but only 2 grills, so lots of people (and families) were left waiting a looong time for dinner. no solution proposed when consulted about it. big play area at one end of the site with a nice pool also available.the pool closes at 6pm which is way to early for people who want to visit the area and enjoy the pool in the evening. Summary: very nice campsite in a good location but work to do to deserve their 4 stars.

The much better option for couples and small camping cars than Les sables on the other side. The site is quiet and a little off the beaten track, wonderful coastal path nearby which you can walk on from 1 to about 60km. We biked it and was gorgeous! the site is small but the staff were lovely and put up with our limited French. We could look around and choose our pitch as we were here in early June off season. The bathrooms are old but absolutely functional with room to hang clothes when showering and a bench for shower gel etc. plenty of sinks and mirrors etc and even a very old hairdryer!

Enjoyed our stay here, extending our stay by 4 nights. Reception was perfect, young lady jolly and helpful, just right here. Our 4 berth mobile home was cosy, but there was no excess space, not much room around the beds for example, and pretty close to neighbours, so considerate neighbours have to be hoped for. We particularly wanted somewhere close to la Rochelle, and this was ideal. Nice country walk nearby, great for our dog. The mobile home was clean and well equipped, only item we could think to be added would be a hair dryer. Beds are a good size, comfortable, and new duvets were supplied.

Nice location. But review below..||1. Check in - poor English speakers|2. Beach located close by - very rocky |3. Snack bar closed from 3pm to 6pm. No shop on site.|4. Games room is just a room off the bar that they do karaoke etc in the evening. Games room is a stretch|5.   Playground is dated and limited - one small slide, 2 swings, climbing rope frame and spring horse |6. Pool is small - again limited - with 3 slides located to the side for 5years plus , limited amusement for kids. |7. Cabin - if you're given F 7 do not accept it.  |Old. |Creaky floors , doors, beds, terrace. - waking kids when walking around. |Windows would not stay open. |Dirty (cobwebs etc). shows the onsite cleaners are not doing much.|We also recived cleaning charges after leaving (89e for 1 oven tray dirty and marks on hob, one fridge shelf, one toothpaste mark on bathroom shelf, sand on shower tray, 1 toilet not flushed ( toilet paper only in it)). |8. Cots are old and smelly.  |9. All clothes smelly after one week on the shelves in wardrobe.

A nice place for younger children, pool area ideal for kids. Cafe bar closed on Mondays, food served at 12 til 2 and from 7 until 9. We hired 2 chalets, a 2 bedroom with one double and 2 single beds which was amazing, had ensuite to main bedroom aswell as separate bathroom for 2nd bedroom. Good kitchen area and good size patio area. Chalet 2 was a three bedroom, very small, one shower for all, no oven and looked tired. Chalets are very close to each other and can be rather noisy if neighbours are sitting outside

A great place to relax & enjoy the French countryside. The cabin they first gave us had a terrible stench of smoke in a non smoking room so they gave us an upgrade... Only a half hour bus ride into La Rochelle, the no 10 then the no 3 bus, so simple. Au Petit Port very dog friendly which is great as we had our Boxer dog with us. A few sticky points with the bus drivers, 1 driver didn't say anything, 2 asked us to put her lead round her mouth to muzzle her & 1 nearly refused us on & called his boss although he let her on in the end. We got a taxi back from L.A. Rochelle twice €15-17. Food at the onsit cafe/restaurant is fantastic. The pool is a good size especially for us who swim daily. We've loved every minute of our stay. Thank you to all the staff.
