PANADERO BATIMENT

I bought the Panadero Onix V3 1000€ its a nice looking chimney which heats well but after four days of having it, the glass cracked on one of the side panels (note glass not covered by warranty) went back to the shop and noticed the display model which hadn't been used was also cracked on the same side. After ordering the glass pane and receiving the new one i started dismantling the old one and noticed that most of the nuts were missing which held the metal plate in place obviously no quality control was done. After about probably 2 weeks of use the fire resistant bands attached to the ash tray started falling off, also when opening the doors to put more wood in, smoke exits way to much which i have never had problems with other manufacturers. All in all i wouldn't recommend this model of chimney Onix V3. Best of spending 500€ plus for something more reliable. Odering for the glass and the installation video was a positive note.

Very disappointing after-sales service and warranty handling. We bought a Panadero wood stove about 10 months ago and were initially satisfied with it. The stove was installed according to the instructions and has only been used normally and lightly. One morning, after the fire had already gone out and only residual heat remained in the stove, we found a crack through the glass panel. The glass had never been removed, adjusted or replaced. The wood did not touch the glass, there was no impact, and we provided Panadero with all requested photos and information. In my opinion, the crack clearly starts from the edge of the glass, which raises serious questions about stress, pressure, mounting, the gasket, expansion clearance or the door/glass assembly. Panadero rejected responsibility and offered only a 50% discount on a replacement glass panel, calling it a “commercial gesture”. I find this unacceptable. The stove is less than one year old, and under European consumer law a commercial warranty exclusion does not simply remove the legal guarantee of conformity. A product must be fit for normal use, and if a defect appears within the legal guarantee period, the seller should properly assess and resolve it, not simply refer to a warranty exclusion for glass. Panadero also suggested that the crack was most likely caused by closing the air draft while residual heat was still inside the stove. This explanation does not make sense to me. A stove of this type should be able to handle normal residual heat without the glass suddenly cracking after less than a year of light use. In my opinion, this points to poor quality or a problem with the construction or mounting of the glass. This is very clear in the pictures that I've send them. After raising these concerns and asking for a proper technical explanation based on the photos, I received no reply. I bought harmonie 3v eco. After 1,5 years of regular and proper use front glass got broken. Replacement was denied. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

We would recommend Panadero as a Company and their product. We live in Spain and delivery was prompt, via a Courier Company. We have asked; several questions and they were answered quickly in our native language. The fire itself is very easy to use, throws out good heat and does this very quickly. First time we have ever had a steel wood burner and are extremely pleased with it.

Useless. Please do not buy from this company. The products are not fit for purpose. I bought an insert fireplace, it was installed by a professional and within 3 weeks the screw for the handle had snapped. The company states that the product is not covered by the guarantee because the handle can withstand 750 degree heat. The screws cannot, I have lab tests showing that the screws can flex and break when the stove heats up. Legal proceedings have started.
