I used their services for 4 days tour around Algiers and Constantine. They provide fast communication via WhatsApp and were able to accommodate my needs on a very short notice a week before arriving in Algeria. I appreciated that they provided me with a several option of tours within the time frame I provided. I used the service as a transfer from/to the airport, they provided guides in both Algiers and Constantine and take care of booking my hotels and domestic flight. I can highly recommend.

We asked Wassim to take us on a tour of the north and south, and he exceeded all our expectations! We visited every place we asked to see, and everything went exactly as we’d hoped. If you literally want to see places that look like they’re from another planet, you can’t miss Tadrar Rouge. We’ll definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of exploring Algiers, Constantine, Timgad, Oran, and Tipaza during a week with Algeria Tours16 in August 2025. I'm very thankful to the highly efficient, responsible, and reliable team of Algeria Tours16—their knowledgeable expert guides full of humour, fun, and joy, who helped me explore the most captivating cultural places, and didn't leave us down or behind, their helpful drivers who ensured timely transportation to and from the airport and provided a safe and pleasant ride, and of course, a special shoutout to Wassim—the heart of the whole operation—who supported me every step of the way starting from the smooth and stress-free process of obtaining an Algerian visa to organising an amazing customized itinerary including comfortable hotel accommodations and the most convenient domestic flights. Algeria is safe indeed, and the people living here are very hospitable, friendly, and kind. I encourage everyone to come here, enjoy the picturesque sights, dive into the exciting history of the country, enjoy exquisite Algerian cuisine, and create unforgettable memories! If I have a chance I'm sure to come here again!)

We had an amazing 12-day trip in Algeria 🇩🇿! Wassim was incredibly flexible with our itinerary and managed to include all the places we wanted to visit, despite the time constraints. Communication was always fast and efficient, and the accommodations were perfectly suited to our needs. The partner companies Wassim works with in the southern part of the country were also very professional and reliable. Wassim applied for our visa-on-arrival authorization as soon as we sent him our details, and we received it just before our trip—even though we knew we had applied a bit late. He was constantly in the touch giving us updates about the visa situation. Overall, we had a truly unforgettable experience and can’t wait to return!

Wassim of Algeria Tours 16 helped us piece together an incredible itinerary on our first (but hopefully not last) visit to Algeria. First off we embarked on a road trip in the north, from Algiers to Constantine, continuing to Ghardaïa and back to Algiers. Most travelers will opt for the cheap domestic flights connecting these cities, but driving gave us the opportunity to visit the Roman ruins of Djémila and Timgad en route, as well as the dramatic canyons at Balcons de Ghoufi, pausing at palmeraies to climb palm trees and pick fresh dates. Driving gave us more of a feeling just how massive this country is. The second part of our trip was near Djanet in the south, camping in the Sahara with our Tuareg guides and discovering the impressive rock formations, sand dunes and rock art in the south. Wassim is very responsive, helped us applying for the recently installed visa on arrival and his company is highly recommended.

Absolutely professional tour operator. We did 2 daytrips with Wassim's team, Timgad (from Constantine) and Tipaza (from Algiers). Both drivers and local guides were top staff, fluent in English and knowing their way around. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic experience with Nour as our tour guide. We had juat a few hours between flights and we were able to customise our tour. We were picked up and returned to airport and they even looked after our bags. Nour is so knowledgeable it really was a delight to listen to her, it made Algiers come to life, the history, the arquitectura, religion. I had totally recommend the experience. Thank you.

Wassim was a great guide. He met us at the airport during our layover and took us for lunch at a local barbecue spot (which was fantastic) then gelato, followed by a quick espresso before hopping on the evening flight to Ghardaïa. When we returned a few days later, he picked us up again and gave what I’ll call the “Best of Algiers” tour. We took in the marvelous architecture of the busy shopping district, and various small markets, stopping for coffee and street eats along the way - before stopping for a traditional lunch. The Casbah portion of our tour took us from a private tour of the Dar Mustapha Pacha at the bottom of the neighborhood to the Carpenters House, where we took in an astonishing view of the city and the Bay of Algiers (as well as coffee on the terrace) - at the top of the neighborhood. Sampling street food along the way of course. Later in the day we visited the Monument of the Martyr, a massive memorial constructed at the highest point in the city. We also paid a visit to the Hamma Scientific Experiments Park, a huge 19th century garden full of colonial history, as well as a tree featured in Tarzan (the 1927 version). All along the way Wassim was dropping knowledge on us about the architectural, political and cultural history of his country. As a well travelled man who speaks multiple languages, he understands and can traverse any cultural barrier that may arise. In our free time, he gave us great recommendations for other great restaurants and places walking distance from our hotel. We can’t wait to return to Algeria, and we’ll definitely be booking through Wassim and Algeria Tours 16.
