Chêne Bleu is a wonderful visit, well worth the extra drive – you really feel like you’re in a little oasis. The wines are all excellent and handcrafted, which you can tell, and the tasting room has been beautifully designed with plenty of informative details like samples of the soil types on the property. Staff were very enthusiastic and generous with their time and knowledge. This gem is tucked out of the way but absolutely worth discovering!
Our guide organised a tour of the facilities, a wine tasting and dinner on the terrace. It was the most spectacular experience. Brian very kindly showed us all around the property and shared his obvious passion for Chene Bleu. This was followed by a very generous tasting followed by a delicious dinner of organic vegetables from their garden and other delectable finds from local producers on their beautiful terrace. The views are spectacular and the sunset was absolute magic.
Five star experience! I visited with 3 friends for my boyfriends birthday and we were all blown away by the incredible service, outstanding wine and food! We did the wine tasting first in the tasting room - you can tell the team really have a genuine passion for the wines. We then had the farm to fork lunch - which was the best meal we had on our 2 week trip in France! It was such great value too. I couldn’t recommend this place enough
We had high expectations and they were exceeded! A spectacular property, situated high on a crest, surrounded by rolling fields of vines. Our room was large and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and had most meals there - very good. Pleasant and helpful staff. The “blind” (dark room and blindfold) tasting was a blast. Excellent wines, they are not cheap but the grapes are hand picked and selected. A memorable experience, we will be back!
This is a wonderful small winery in Provence. You’ll definitely need a car to access if you are not staying nearby, but it was worth the drive! We went on a Tuesday, so it was quiet and we were the only ones participating in a tasting, so got a very personalized experience. We were shown around the facilities and then completed a tasting of about 7 wines. The wines were delicious and all very unique. We had paid for the extended wine tasting (hence 7 wines) and lunch which was beautifully packed up for us in a basket. We picked a delicious bottle of rosé for lunch and our guide told us it would be wonderful to sit in their garden to eat. There was a beautifully shaded area with a table where we ate lunch. Food was fresh and delicious (and very healthy!). We sipped our rosé and took in the garden, wandering around to look at all the vegetables, herbs and fruit growing. All in all, a lovely experience that was very relaxing/romantic.
My wife and I had the pleasure of having a phenomenal tasting and then a picnic in the vineyard here last month. I had pretty high expectations given the location, but I was completely blown away. Camille was one of the best tasting hosts we had in 3 weeks in France. I truly am not sure what more we could have asked for because everything was sublime.
Everything about the experience was fantastic. Major thanks to Ashley and Anna for a wonderful tasting. The drive up to the winery was super scenic. It felt like a local adventure. The grounds of the winery are expansive and beautiful. Wines were great! We didn’t know too much about wine and really appreciated the education. We had such a fun time chatting!
The most extraordinary experience. And not to be missed visit to a ninth century winery With 20th century green wine. Exquisite!
