What's most impressive is the layer of slightly charred cheese covering the steak. Underneath the steak is a rich mushroom sauce, each bite bursting with flavor. The side salad also complements the steak surprisingly well—unlike many deliberately sour salads, this one is slightly sweet and warm, with even some mushroom sauce clinging to the leaves, allowing you to enjoy both without any clashing flavors. The other dish, lamb couscous, was equally satisfying. The lamb was perfectly cooked, and the ratio of meat, vegetables, and couscous was just right. Even in the last bite, you could still taste the tender lamb and the rich sauce, perfectly blended with the couscous. These two dishes left the three of us completely satisfied. At the end of the meal, the chef thoughtfully served us a small glass of limoncello. I don't usually drink, but the refreshing and fragrant lemon sweetness of this liqueur was irresistible—it felt as if the lemon pulp and peel had been infused into it. The perfect balance of sour, sweet, and slightly bitter flavors left a pleasant aftertaste that lingered long after we left the restaurant.
Great experience. Valentina, our server, took great care of us and was very friendly and helpful. All four of us greatly enjoyed our dinners and desserts. The limoncello at the end was the cherry on top of a wonderful evening.
A hidden gem for sure. Great service, delicious food. The chef came to our table and explained the dishes to us in English the best he could. Don’t go to the tourist trap restaurants on the promenade - go here!!! It felt like a place where the locals go. We felt welcome and had a great time. Best meal we had in Nice.
The best Niçoise salad and beef tartare we’ve ever had. It tasted delicious and the presentation was first class! Must try!
It is a wonderful hidden gem with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and seasonal based. The pistachio creme brule had a beautifully unique flavour and perfect texture. Affordable pricing for the incredible quality. The customer service was flawless. Both waitress and chef were both very friendly and checked on us during our meal. I recommend the home-made limoncello too!
This place on the outskirts of Nice is well worth seeking out. The kitchen is run by one very dedicated guy who serves up the most delicious food. We had gnocchi with scallops and the highly recommended veal saltimbocca . The price is a reasonable for food of this quality And it was all served up with kindness and charm. Highly recommended
Incredible meal, the waitress and the chef/owner are the top tier of service and quality. Every single detail from the food to the wine and checking in was such a high level. Highly recommend the trio of fish and the beef fillet, complex favours and balance. Biggest hidden gem in the world for me. The home made limoncello is a delight too, it's like a lemonade mixed with limoncello. 10/10.
Everything were amazing. The food is delicious it's been a long time ago i've eaten this good, and the presentation is pretty good too. Also we arrived pretty late but we were served nicely. The wine was also delisch not to mention the own made limoncello which we were served at the end as an extra. The schef speaks pretty good in english and he kindly explained the menu to us. I found both the quantity and the quality of the food perfectly satisfying.
