The food was exquisite. I visited in June, and got the seasonal menu. It was easily the best meal I have ever had in my life, with the highlight being the beef and the potatoes. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I was seated on the second floor, and there was a great view of the étang.
We were honestly blown away by the food and the hospitality. Thanks for making my wife’s celebration such a great moment — the food and wine pairing was spot on and super delicious. Definitely giving a 5 stars ! Hope will come back again one day
We sat in this beautiful garden setting, the restaurant was small, cozy and intimate. Best white asparagus appetizer I had in my life, still dreaming about it! The service was kind, so nice and very efficient. Make sure to call or email them ahead for your reservations. It's a small restaurant with quite complicated preparations, so the chef should know in advance to prep accordingly. Great wine selection too, at a fair price (my menu offering was €80 per pax). Then you get greeted with this beautiful pond of Cucuron in the plaza. Highly recommend!
Growing up watching Ratatouille as an American kid, I always had an imagination of what Anton Ego (the critic) tasted when he tried Remy’s ratatouille dish - well low and behold, I think I experienced that here. Delicious and traditional (but very rich)!
Wonderful and intimate dining in a picturesque town. The house wine choices were a bit too sweet for my taste, but I always enjoy trying the the recommended pairings. Chef Eric Sapet is charming. Loved the whole dining experience.
This restaurant was a fabulous experience and we both said we were so glad we drove a beautiful hour to get to Cucuron! The upstairs dining room was elegant and old and really took you back to another century. Every dish was prepared with elegance and fine care. Overall, the balance of the meal was too heavy for my personal tastes. The amusé bouches were very “fish” powerful, and unfortunately not to my personal liking. I should have said I had a seafood allergy, but forgot. The entrée was chicken, morel and foie gras, and also, interesting but also not to my liking. The beef cheek was delectable and I ate mine and my dining partners! And the desserts were marvelous. Oh, the wine pairing were wonderful! Absolutely try the homemade orange wine for the aperitif! The chef greeted us and said goodbye and that was wonderful and unusual!!! Like I said at the beginning, a truly unique experience in an absolutely gorgeous provençal village.
An absolutely sublime dining experience! The lovely garden setting, the original, well-executed dishes and the perfectly chosen accompanying wines/drinks…it was perfect!
Located in charming Cucuron just beside the village bassin, the restaurant offers a high-quality take on the traditional regional cuisine. The décore is original and robust as are the dishes. Prices are reasonable and you will not leave hungry. The chef and owner is around for a friendly chat.
