Wowwwwwwwww! What a location! Literally across the road from the station with the added bonus of buses into town. We spent 4 nights and the level of cleanliness was beyond belief- absolutely spotless. The scenery at the back was breathtaking and the garden and pool - something else. The only downside was there was no mini fridge in our room and also the complementary coffee and tea did not come with milk. We were supposed to checkout today and we panicked as there was no one at the front desk. The front door was locked and being told there was only one train out of Lourdes today- I hammered the bell and thank God, a lady appeared. We were not checked out - we were told to leave our key on the desk and told to use the back door to exit. I don’t think that was professional sadly- BUT I WILL CHOOSE THE HOTEL AGAIN.|We selected because we wanted to visit the shrine and grotto of Our Lady. A bus ride was only €1! To our utter surprise, it was a pleasant walking distance. |Follow my instructions and you will thank me for it. By the way, if you have difficulty walking or use a walking aid- not a walking stick but a mechanised one then I will advise you to take the bus.|1 - OUT OF THE HOTEL AND TURN LEFT|2 - KEEP GOING AND STILL ON THE LEFT |3 - THE ROAD VEERS SLIGHTLY LEFT BUT KEEP GOING |4 - ABOUT 150 YARDS THAT IS FROM THE HOTEL IS A BRIDGE|5 - GO DOWN THE STEPS AND TURN LEFT AT THE BOTTOM |6 - WALK STRAIGHT - THE GROTTO AND SANTUARY ARE AHEAD OF YOU||GOOD LUCK

We were extremely disappointed with our recent stay. The air conditioning in the room did not work at all, and the heat made it extremely difficult to sleep. This was the most significant issue, and it affected the entire stay. Staff offered no solutions, no compensation, and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, even though we heard other guests complaining about the same problem. It is clear the hotel was aware of this in advance, and it would have been appropriate to notify guests by email or phone before arrival to give us a chance to change our reservations as it stated A/C in all rooms. Several other issues added to the frustration. Some staff members were noticeably rude and unwilling to assist, especially in the evening. The hotel “shuts down” at 11 p.m., and on one night it closed as early as 10:30 p.m., with staff a bit rude when we ordered drinks at 10:45 p.m. The lobby bathroom was dirty, with several bugs crawling on the floor and no working hand dryer (I should have taken pictures). There were two young children lingering behind large curtains in the room adjacent to the salon, which made the environment feel uncomfortable and made for a bit of a strange situation. We never figured out what was going on and it was worrying to us. Are they with the staff? Are they supervised/safe? Keep in mind that there is no one at all at reception past 11pm at night. Nor is the kitchen or bar open. Nearly empty vending machine with expired products. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities. There were no bathrobes, despite the website stating they would be provided, and no bathroom amenities were available (only dual soap/shampoo). Overall, this stay did not meet expectations in any way. Between the lack of air conditioning, poor service, and misleading information, I would not stay here again. Really not worthy of a 3-star hotel rating of which we have stayed in plenty. We are thankful we did not order any food/breakfast from here, even though they tried to g

A three stars hotel that punches its weight above its star ratings. We just completed a four nights stay in this lovely hotel in our first trip to Lourdes to explore the sanctuary and the natural highlights such as the cirque de gavarnie. We purchased the family suite for more relaxation space and it is well worth the money - the suite is newly renovated and very clean. What could have been better would be having stronger water pressure. The location is perfect for easy access to public transport since we do not drive. The breakfast buffet is OK.

This hotel is perfect for a visitor to Lourdes, it is opposite the train station and is a walking distance to the Glotto of our Lady of Lourdes. Really nice hotel with great food and wonderful people. Overall l would stay again at this hotel and l would recommend it to any travelers to Lourdes.

Base rooms are very small. No place to place your luggages. I suggest to upgrade to the bigger room. Front desk also runs to the restaurant so the is a delay in checking-in and attending to other issues. Restaurant was understaffed. Had to wait for our dinner and had to skip our dessert due to the long wait. Excellent location (and this was the main reason we picked this hotel).

Lovely hotel, navette service every 15 mins to La Grotte, adjacent to Le Gare, some rooms don't have walk-in showers (l'italienne)..recommend the steak €27..

I would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Lourdes. It is only a 15 min walk from the Sanctuary. The desk personelle are very hard working, as they help manage the desk as well as help in the restaurant. They were very nice to us. We were able to store our luggage before we could check in and after checkout until we left on our train. Rooms were clean, comfy, and updated. We had a nice breakfast and lunch at the restaurant. It was convenient not to have to go anywhere else for breakfast in the morning. They had a buffet with a barista to make different coffee options. There is a nice pool and seating area behind the hotel with a great view of the town. The best part is the location. The hotel is directly across from the train station. I was so thankful we booked this hotel when I saw other people dragging their suitcases further into the hilly town.

Dear Mme. Claudia, Thank you for your note. While I appreciate the courteous tone, I was hoping for more than a polite form letter. My concerns weren’t about an occasional service gap but about a pattern of neglect—unavailable amenities, an unattended front desk, and a general lack of accountability. The experience fell well below the standards that once made Best Western a trusted name. I don’t expect further correspondence or compensation. I simply wanted to make clear why I—and likely others who read my reviews—will be choosing different accommodations in the future. Zero Stars appropriately sums up your response. Respectfully, John Bridges
