Ignore the ignorance of the reviews below. This is a superb swimming pool. The French have their rules, yes they can be annoying for foreigners, but they have some basis. You can't wear swimwear that might be wearable outside . So buy some Speedos. I did for my holiday here. Easy to buy tickets when you arrive The staff are so friendly and helped us English folk on how to get in and use the really clever electronic lookers. The inside pool area is fantastic, with areas adults can enjoy a jacuzzi whilst kids play in front. There is a fab circle current, with more bubble area inside it, plus an outside pool, which is 5 degrees warmer at 30 degrees.. the water is not cold as some say, this is standard public pool temperature. There are also some fun outside slides plus areas to chill out plus lovely landscaping. Do people notice the effort put in by the gardener!?! Car parking plenty and free. One warning is that the slides close one hour before 7 pm in Sunday, and the pool itself shuts things down slowly, and then all out 30 minutes before the centre closes. It is so much better than UK pools! Wonderful 3 hours spent with the kids, ignore all the negative reviews below, a great thing for us on holiday, and a grey day outside. So much thought went into design here, built in 2010, to b3 respected. Well done Oberai!!!

A very pleasant surprise. Beautiful inside, the pools are great as well as the wellness part of it. Great for kids and families

Went here, rules not posted as far as I could tell. Following the cultural norms is one thing, but the rules seem to ban any swimwear that isn’t the size and tightness of underwear. It feels scammy because they don’t tell you the rules until you have already paid and went inside, then they try and force you to buy expensive pairs from their shop. Which say what you will about it being customary, the law itself is extremely oppressive and feels as if a direct target towards Muslim women. How is it more cleanly if all the men are forced to wear banana hammocks with half their junk spilling out?

This is the most ridiculous place, where I was in my life. I’m not even mentioning the weird opening times, but there are many weird rules. You can’t be in shorts only in real swimming trunks. You can’t take pictures. You can’t enter the toilet in street clothes. Also it is very cold inside, which would be acceptable if the water is warm. But it is not.

Though far from the "aquatic theme parks" you'll find across the border in Germany, L'O is one of the most interesting family swimming pools around Strasbourg we've come across. They've got bubbles, spouts, sprinklers, "waterfall fountains" and whirlpools, making this a great place especially for young children. The biggest downside we found was that the floor of the changing rooms were extremely dirty, making a change of clothes after swimming here a challenge if you didn't bring any flip-flops. A place to consider when looking for something else than just another plain and regular swimming pool, but not necessarily something at the top of our list, considering the options available in Germany... And: make sure to bring your flip-flops!

This was by far the most enjoyable swimming-pool in the region during our summer holiday. There are several indoor and outdoor pools and there is a great pentagliss slide outside (but no slide inside). There is also a lawn for sunbathing and a little snack bar. Inside there was a cool obstacle course for kids.

It might have been ok but my daughter was asked to leave because she was wearing swimming shorts and top. Apparently they were the wrong type of shorts and we were invited to buy some speedo shorts for her. What??? It seems France police what you wear in the swimming pool but only if you dress half decently. If you wear a tiny triangle that’s fine. Allegedly this is for reasons of hygiene relating to a law from 1903 - think swimwear might have come on since then. Can’t help thinking this is a convenience to help ban burkinis. It seems the ideals of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity don’t apply to in French swimming pools. C’mon France, surely it’s time to stop telling people how to dress and your only a few km from the European Court of Human Rights. This is a general comment about France. I will say the young woman in this particular pool was understanding and very helpful. Well done to her and shame on the French government.
