Once a palace of the Genoese governors now a museum. Well after exploring the old town, family was hungry. No museum for me. But I loved the old doors to the palace.
Definitely worth the climb from the harbor. You can access the museum garden for a small fee (1€) and have stunning views on the city. The citadel in the back is also quite nice with hidden gems and less crowd when compared to the city downstairs.
The WWII exhibition was very interesting, especially the video footage of GIs liberating Bastia. The rest of the stuff on show was ok, not all in English and surprisingly not a lot of its most famous son, Napoleon

Bellissimo palazzo ben tenute recentemente restaurato, accessibile completamente senza gradini. All'interno mostre temporanee, da visitare se siete appassionati o esperti. Noi con due bambini piccoli non siamo entrati. Da qui si gode di una bella vista sul porto.
