Avis
We had a special check in luggage (infant chair) which didnt show up in the conveyor belt, approached their luggage staff who directed us to a specials conveyer, apparently there's a different conveyor for special luggage. Airport is peaceful, calm, and so easy so navigate. You need euro coins to use the trolley
Beautiful airport in Brest. Acces by public transport is possible via a Shuttle (normal price) at the tram station “Porte de Gouesnou”. Check-In might be very crowded in times of Corona. Security checks are very fast.
The airport is clean and easy to get around. Check-in with Air France took longer than expected because of limited staff, but introducing automated baggage drop-off for online check-ins would really help. If you’re flying with them, it’s worth arriving a bit early.
Small airport for local flight small coffee shop , no lounge
Very cool and clean
Quick easy access but here's no lounge. And even though it's mentioned on the website that there's a lounge. It's not there anymore except for very exceptionnel occasion. And I don't appreciate the misleading reply which claimed that the airport has a lounge but needs reservation.
As a frequent business traveller, I often pass through securities at different airports all over the world. Let me confirm that this Brest airport in the north of France is the worst and biggest nightmare that I have ever experienced in my professional and personal travels. If I could put -1000 stars for this Halloween experience I would. This airport lacks communications and treats passengers like animals on a farm. It is highly disorganised and interrogates passengers like accused criminals awaiting to be sentenced on trial. There is very high animosity and if you fall on the women in blue polo shirt and dark trousers be prepared to be mistreated and talked down onto like a dog. My personal experience is that the blue uniform women even talks down to other staff in white and black uniform and screams at them unprofessionally in front of passengers with no shame. As a domestic and international airport the blue uniform personnel personally told me that she doesn’t speak English and tried to humiliate me when I simply tried to reason with her in a gentle manner. There is no communication or negotiation, but simply shunning and mistreatment. The mentality is still in the ice age era and it is disrespectful as well as shameful not to mention the racial discrimination towards Asians. As an international traveller I have never felt such humiliation and lack of respect. The lack of communication of the airport in general left a very distasteful imprint onto my memory. There are no signs or indications for their particularity in procedure. I am a professional in the legal domain of aviation and I am perfectly aware of the European regulations and requirements with flexibility of each airport being able to insert some tailored requirements that they prefer. This airport does not help or assist passengers!! They herd passengers like a flock of sheep. Should you come with your own plastic bag they will make you specifically use their own plastic bags that they do not supply
My favorite airport! Everything was fine: from parking to check-in and flying. I love that it is an airport at human scale.
