Wonderful park close to the river. Great for walking and running.
Even despite some security concerns I heard about that place, it is very nice and pictoresque. The main trail can get really muddy which is something to consider. I barely met any other people there, which makes sense considering how far from regular transport stations that is.

The climb up takes a toll on your knees but if you're looking for a wild, dense and refreshing forest walk that's what you'll get! Very nice scenery and beautiful lake. Hidden gems for pique nique
Went in the late afternoon, good view
Great park far for the curious eyes of most of the people. To reach it from Bordeaux center, I recommend the "batcub" ( public boat transport) from the stop Stalingrad up to lormont bàs. Take your camera with you! Btw, the way there is not well identified and there are no toilets or other kind of facilities around.
Ideal to get away from the noise of the city center
