The worst hotel experience we’ve ever had, for the money it cost us. What a complete disappointment - do yourself a favor and skip this one. Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful service, overpriced and not comfortable at all. When we arrived at 19:30, we were refused a seat at the restaurant, which wasn’t even full, there were two tables. We had made our reservation through Booking and their excuse was that they couldn’t have known we would want dinner. The only other option in town was a bad doner/pizza place - not what you expect when you go on holiday in France. The breakfast was very disappointing for the price - we were served 1 croissant per person, there was a baguette to cut from, bit of cheese and meat and some jams/butter. At 9am they were out of eggs, even though we had booked breakfast from the day before. For 12.5€ per person, absolute disappointment. The double bed is very small, the third bed is extremely uncomfortable. There was no ac and was quite warm and stuffy. Opening the windows at night meant lots of noise as there was a lot of heavy traffic passing through the village.

Rooms are really good and comfortable. Everything is clean and modern. The bed was really comfortable. I own an electric vehicle and there is a charger really close to the hotel. So that made my stay easy.

Wonderful local hotel, in the heart of the town. Right priced. Fresh food, warm staff. The owners were accommodating even though we spoke little French. The location in the heart of the town put you in walking distance to everything. Also, plenty of parking.

The only other option in town was a bad doner/pizza place.We had to go to Sedan to find decent food. The double bed is very small, the third bed is extremely uncomfortable. You can feel the metallic box spring through the mattress. There was no air conditioning and was very warm and stuffy. Opening the windows at night meant lots of noise as there was a lot of heavy traffic passing through the village. We did not sleep at all. In the morning, we found bites on our daughter. We searched and found bed bugs in the pillow. We told the manager and she asked if we brought it with us! She told that it was the first time it happened to her. That she could not do anything for us because we booked with booking.com. We had to pay for that night and we are not even sure that we do not have to pay for the second night. A horrible day to do laundry instead of going to Chassepierre festival! We lost a lot of money.

I was misled and had to pay €95 above advertised price for this hotel because of simple error made by receptionist. After my visit at the beginning of August I am still waiting for my money to be refunded. Numerous emails have been sent with just one lousy explanation from the hotel claiming third party does charge commission for bookings ($126 commission?). I have paid two seperate fees. One $126 for a booking advertised on a third party website and another €95 during checkout at the hotel. So far 0 reply to my emails from third party so if you are being asked by the hotel to pay again at the checkout don't do it cos you'll never get your money back if your not persistent. Hope this dispute will be resolved soon but what a waste of time. Shameful customer service from both companies. Very disappointed customer.

The hotel is clean, personel nice. The Breakfast could have more vegetables. But the restaurant is fantastic. Closed on Sunday evening, tgere is nothing in the village.

Very spacious rooms, good and friendly service, good French cuisine. Worth recommending if you want to stay in the area.
