I asked my french language teacher at LanguaeOnze school for a kitchen store recommendation and she recommended Habiague. I wanted some gifts to take home after my time in Toulouse. This store is floor to ceiling wall to wall with European kitchen gadgets , novelties, and necessities. I had so much fun shopping here that I had to go to a discount department store to buy a cheap suitcase to bring it all home. I noticed that very few items were "Made in China", but mostly made in France and the EU. When shopping take the time to browse, then browse again. If you are looking for a special souvenir, this is the store for you. And they appreciated my attempt to try to speak French, laughing when I asked for a cheese spoon rather than a cheese knife.
