BERMONT FRANCK

Giant bastion, when you aproach those walls from land it is like OMG. Inside is a small town with a church of John the Baptist. If you are lucky to get a parking place bellow the walls, otherwise park before the marine and have a nice walk through turist streets. Once inside encircle the walls and enjoy the view.

Great visit. Beautiful views of the city and the bay. Ideal for an afternoon stroll and discover this older part of the city. Beware of the cars. Some drivers were impatient with pedestrians and were honking to get fast through the narrow street.

Beautiful landmark with lovely views of Calvi and the surrounding coastline. A lot of uphill trekking, so prepare yourself for reaching the top! There are restaurants, gelato, jewelry shops and art displays worth a visit.

Spectacular views of the town below and lots of little, interesting streets to lose yourself in. There are various signs with information and an audio tour I believe people can do (although we didn't). A lovely little church can be found near the top and a delicious ice cream parlour.

No taxis, no trash cans and train routes are not accurate. Expect to walk especially If you're staying at the near by camps. City was lovely, tourist friendly and lots of picturest spots.

Lovely place to visit, just be prepared for alot of steps and steep gradients but the view is worth it.

Beautiful citadelle, great spots for sunset drinks, and a few very nice places to eat. Plenty more on the lower town too.
