I stayed here one night on my way back from Normandy. Really a nice and peaceful property with a lovely quiet garden. I did have a small issue with my room with some ladybugs and the staff were so helpful and lovely and offered me another room. Their on-site restaurant is also lovely and both dinner and breakfast fid not disappoint. Thank you.

We had an unforgettable experience at Les Chemins. Everything - from the exquisite flavors and artistic presentation to the warm and attentive service - was absolutely exceptional. We came to celebrate our engagement, and every moment felt magical. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, the dishes were a true celebration of taste and craftsmanship, and the staff made us feel genuinely cared for. A perfect evening in every sense.

Our stay at Domaine de Primard at the end of December was absolutely wonderful. We stayed for several days, and everything about the experience felt thoughtful and welcoming. The food was outstanding, seasonal, beautifully prepared, and something we genuinely looked forward to each day. Just as memorable was the staff: warm, attentive, and incredibly kind. There’s a rare, familial atmosphere here that makes you feel less like a guest and more like you belong. Debora, Cecile and Alia especially were truly fantastic. The decor was great too. A calm, elegant place that truly invites you to slow down. We can’t wait to return.

We stayed in this delightful spot in the middle of a heatwave this past summer. We knew this was Catherine Deneuve’s old home so there is something special about seeing the place for the first time. We chose to spend our two nights not in the main chateau but in the nearby “Maison du Lac” because we wanted a ground floor room that gave on to a garden. We had breakfast brought to us there and it was enchanting. It was perhaps less “grand “than the main building but so pretty and cozy. We loved the restaurants, we sampled both the “Bistrot” and the gastronomic restaurant and both were excellent. We discovered a marvellous white wine from Savoie. I also went to the spa and got a very good facial.|We enjoyed the warm welcome, the kindness of the staff and just sitting by the river and revelling in green lushness and peace. You can roam around and see the orchard, the rose garden, the vegetable patch, the donkeys, and of course enjoy the swimming pool. Kids and dogs are welcome so you must expect both. This is a family place although we relished the quiet part of the garden in the shade. I don’t know what this place is like when it rains or when it gets muddy, but I imagine it can be just as nice. Oh and I almost forget the gong ringing at 4 and announcing tea and cakes : so yummy !

This place has definitely passed its expiration. I could only imagine it must’ve been very nice at one point. The grounds are lovely and the rooms are ok, but there is no upkeep and everything is lacking. Service is spotty wherever you are whether it’s a restaurant or housekeeping. Little details like turn down service just being a flipping the bedsheet, a nice massive bath, but no bath salts or bubbles. Only Juice and Coca Cola in the mini bar. But gym is atrocious. Weights with no number and broken cables on the sole machine that they have - it looks like no one’s been in there for 15 years. The Spa they advertise, has a sauna and steam room which admittedly were nice, but Jacuzzi and cold plunge and anything else advertised not in service. The “pond” looks like a ghost town. Row boats half sunken and broken chairs. There are nicer places you can pick on your stop in Normandy.

All in all a very decent experience, but a few negative tones considering the price paid and quality expected: - The room was alright, but not exceptional. The floor was a bit dusty, so I had to wipe my feet when going to bed. - The Food was OK, nothing special. But the pricing was insane. I think I paid around 30€ for a burger which was average. There are no other options since it's in the middle of the country side, so it seems they take advantage of this. - They charged me for water even though I asked for a "carafe d'eau" which means tap water. They serve bottles of water but I believe they are filtered, not mineral. These are small details which is why I still gave 3 stars. But I found these aspects frustrating. - The rest of the stay was very pleasant. But for the price paid, things should be a bit more perfected.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which felt like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Paris. The beautiful gardens created a relaxing environment, and the entire property was impeccably clean. The concierge was incredibly helpful, even booking a wonderful dinner for us at a nearby restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape during their visit to Paris!
