In the height of Summer, there is still plenty of room to enjoy the surroundings and relax, or to have fun in a pedallo, kayak or paddle board. Very good prices, a nice snack bar and refreshment area. Safe swimming fir children and a water slide. Inflatable slide adventure too.Plent6 of picnic benches and a barbeque area, entry price in 2025 is €3 for adults, children are cheaper. No Dogs allowed.

This place is just great, stunning views, wonderful clean water, great vibe and brilliant facilities. This is the second year running we have visited Lougratte lac, our kids ( 17,16,12) love it, out on the water all day .

Fantastic location to take kids for a fun day out. Great facilities including picnic area with barbecues, supervised beach area in summer, water slide, cafe, showers, loos and children’s play area. Amazing value at around €2 per adult and less per child for a whole day. There’s also a fitness trail around the lake. Out of season it’s a great place to walk dogs and enjoy the surroundings.

Super place to spend an afternoon. The setting is lovely, the beach and surrounding areas were clean, water is clean and the facilities are very good. There are toilets, showers and changing rooms, picnic benches, public bbq facilities, a food kiosk serving a variety of fast food options (hot dogs, chips, toasties, paninis etc.) as well as cold drinks. Service was good. In addition to swimming, there is a good range of activities including kayaking, paddle boards, pedalos all of which were reasonably priced and also a large inflatable 'assault course' on the water. Other activities include a volley ball pitch and table tennis. It costs 3 euros for entry which I considered to be excellent value and we visited several times during our stay in the area.

Fabulous place for the family. The lake was clean, the kids loved the water slide (even the teens), the inflatable course was a big hit (although we all got scratched by the velcro), lots of families doing BBQs, we took a picnic and bought fries, ice cream and cold drinks from the shop.

Beautiful lake with well organised facilities. White sand, clean water, plenty of tables for picnics, washing stations, toilets and a huge water play area. Small charge for entry but parking is free. Excellent place to spend a day roasting under the sun and swimming for the whole family.

Disappointing for a paying "beach". Dirty nappies, people swimming in their clothes and where is the safety guard as stipulated till 7pm?

Lots to entertain and good food. Picnic benches and trees make for a perfect day out
