I used to visit Chez Terra when going out with my Japanese colleagues. Decoration has been refreshed with a new modern bistro atmosphere. Food is still good quality and staff is lovely.

First time i was here ... when the restaurant still old interior and have old lady to service ... and now the restaurant is more modern interior and the most is the food always fresh and delicious , all they cooked very fresh and really homemade .... i never boring to ate here .. The best wine and best japanese food in lyon , you must booking first otherwise this restaurant always full... The Fish , salade , soup ....very delicious . I recomended 100% .

I had the pleasure of trying the Kaisen-don at Chez Terra and I must say, it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, and the textures were spot on. The dish was filled with a variety of types of fish. Each bite was a true delight and I couldn't get enough. The presentation of the chirashi was also top-notch, making it a pleasure to both the taste buds and the eyes. Overall, I highly recommend this bowl to anyone who loves sushi and is looking for a unique and satisfying meal.

Nice authentic Japanese restaurant. Good home dishes. Good flavoured taste almost like in japan. And as you walk in you can feel the Japanese atmosphere. And the service is also good. And they always have some seasonal frech dishes to try. Every flavour and texture are balanced. I can tell the chef care about the details so much that you can feel it in your mouth. And the tea is real Japanese tea. Karage is not the Normal kind of fried chicken. There's some sauce to make it refreshing in stead of greasy. Always some vegetables on side to give the dishes freshness and texture contrast and of course some healthyness 😂 Warm and comfortable and you can refill hot water it's still richful. Best Miso soup! Seasonally adjusted the menu. Desert are classic French with Japanese elements. Classic but new version. Same taste perfect. Recommended all the dishes to try. This is a restaurant you can eat something makes you feel warm comfortable and satisfy. One of the best Japanese restaurant in France. (Not only in Lyon)

Great Japanese restaurant. Traditional cooking that goes beyond your usual sushi. The staff is very nice as well 😊

I thought the food was good but it was leveled to more of a western taste. The alcohol here is extremely expensive compared to Tomo...I would recommend just getting food. I wanted to try one of the degustation meals, but apparently you need a different reservation than the one you book. Odd... If you want something a little more authentic, head south to Tomo. The prices for food and alcohol/sake are all around more reasonable.

Good authentic Japanese cuisine. It was really crowded during lunch time but definately worth waiting.

Interiors need to be remodeled but except that, very good and tasty Japanese specialties (Gyoza, etc.)
