Been here twice and it’s been the best meal I’ve had in Paris both times. Absolutely phenomenal. Just had the duck confit and it’s the best duck I have ever had. The escargot are also incredible, and the wine pairings are outstanding. Great service and a reasonable price in an excellent atmosphere. What more can you ask for?

Our experience was absolutely incredible! The wait staff is so kind. We were staying on the opposite side of town but heard such amazing things that we knew we had to try. For appetizers we got the escargot, oysters, and the apple/goat cheese tart. For our meals we got the tartare and the ribeye. And for dessert we ordered the crème brûlée and upon the hostesses suggestion the lava cake. Every bite was delicious. This has been our favorite meal so far and we would recommend this to anyone visiting Paris!

I can’t stress enough how good this place is!! I literally saw a comment here about how this customer felt like crying eating the duck confit and I can second that comment. What a tasteful dinner full of flavor! The food itself made our experience so unique but it was not the only thing, every single staff was extremely attentive and kind in their service, always explaining the menu in details so we would choose the best option. We had the cheese platter that was impeccable and finished with creme brulee and lava cake. Can I just say this is the tastiest lava cake I’ve ever had. Dark chocolate with a nice hint of salt in the caramel making it the perfect combination. This is coming from someone that makes lava cake every week to perfect it. They made it better. I forgot to mention but I’ve never had escargot before and tried here for the first time. That was the very first thing we ate here and we were like “this is the best thing we’ve eaten in France. Little did we know every other thing we ordered would be just better and better. Will definitely come back! Ps forgot to take pictures of the dessert but I have a picture of the aftermath (we don’t usually finish desserts but you can see what happened here)

I have been wanting to dine here for some time. We finally did on December 20. We sat upstairs and it was a great environment. Our server was fantastic and attentive. The foie gras French toast was outstanding! I can’t stop talking about it! All of our dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! The wine list is remarkably well priced. It was one of the finest, if not the finest, meals and experiences that I have had in my 6 or 7 trips to Paris. I have been recommending it to friends ever since. We will gladly return to Le Colimaçon when we return to Paris. Thank you for such a lovely evening!

Cosy, great food offerings and friendly service. The interiors and size felt like we were visiting a friend’s home for a delicious meal. Our waiter was very kind and allowed us to practice our French with patience. We each had starters, a main and dessert, along with a great bottle of wine. A fabulous option if you want a slightly modern take on traditional French cuisine!

One of our favorite experiences in Paris thus far. Food was incredible! Our group of four people left nothing behind on our plates. We also absolutely loved the chocolate lava cake. We will be having dreams about that dessert! The foie gras with the fig jam + pink peppercorns… will also be in my dreams at night. Highly recommend!

Really loved the food here. We had rabbit leg, veal steak and pain perdu for dinner and it was amazing. While checking out a few restaurants around Marais area and I chose this place after reading through recent reviews. After having dinner here, I and my husband could know why the staff here replied back to some of negative reviews confirming with confidence that they were all incorrect and vicious. Because the food here is really good that its really unlikely you will dislike it.

Absolutely wonderful traditional French restaurant - recommend highly. Food was delectable and the service was friendly and attentive and just made us feel at home. The restaurant setting and decor are charming. It was truly a highlight of our trip to Paris.
