We would recommend this extremely highly and have stayed three times. The Cider Press has been the perfect place to stay with our small children. The house is comfortable and well equipped. The garden at the front is a perfect place for kids to play and adults to relax. Each morning we appreciated the view across green fields from our balcony and terrace. The terrace is a perfect for meals and provides shade when it is hot. The grounds and lovely swimming pool are beautiful and well maintained. Tam and Stew are exemplary hosts, friendly and always willing to help, sort things out, or leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet. Our daily chats have been a highlight of our stay, especially for the kids. The ‘bread fairy’ does a great job in bringing an order of bread, croissants, etc from the local bakery each morning. There are a few fun things to do on the doorstep: walks in the local forest and high ropes in Camors. Auray is a 30 minute drive to the south and beautiful peaceful beaches are slightly further.

We (2 couples and 3 young kids) spent a fantastic week at Gites de Camors. Set in beautiful countryside and within easy distance of a great variety of attractions, we can’t recommend this place enough. The accommodation was excellent and Tam and Stewart are the perfect hosts, even doing the morning bread and croissants run should you wish! The garden and pool were a delight and we were all loath to leave! Truly great holiday x

Tamsin and Stewart are by far the nicest hosts we ever met; there’s nothing they wouldn’t do to make your stay even more pleasant. Upon arrival we received a very genuine and warm welcome topped with a lovely hamper full of gifts, beers and wine in the fridge and little welcome bags on our little girls bed pillows. We immediately felt at home! Our Cider press gîte was very clean, tidy, super cozy yet airy and spacious. The view from the master bedroom was simply magnificent; waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the patio is just one of the many perks of this lovely gîte. The gîte has everything you can think of but should anything be missing Tamsin and Stew would for sure fix it for you in a blink of an eye. The area is very green, quiet; ideal for walking/biking/running. The town center has a great butcher, bakery and a nice pizzeria but the bigger shops are only 10min away. We can also highly recommend the house-caterer; the food was very fresh and tasty! Great beaches can be found within a 25 to 30min driving radius

Lovely gite, very traditional. Great hosts. Pool is a great addition. The area has a lot to do for families, couples or large groups.

Such lovely hosts who can’t do enough for you. The location is so peaceful, and the accommodation amazing. The facilities within the accommodation are excellent, with everything you could want This is our second visit here and we can’t wait to come back again! The Cider Press rooms are very comfortable, roomy, and well organized. Wi-Fi, satellite tv, and total quiet. Close to beach, and several monolith sites nearly 5000 yrs old. Plus medieval buildings in several close villages, Josselin is one. We enjoyed our first visit to France and will return. Gerry from Seattle, WA. USA
