LA TETE NOIRE

Charming outdoor ambiance under the trees with coloured lights. Attentive waitress with a lovely smile (but she and the other waitresses were very busy). Food was delicious. I had a Carpaccia de Salmon salad for main course and for dessert fresh chopped pineapple with strawberry sorbet. This was one of the nicest desserts I've ever had. Both were specials and so aren't on the normal menu. My wife had crème brûlée which was fairly average. To drink I had a virgin pina colada which was very good.

We had the chicken burger and the caesar salad with an avocado tartar. All incredibly tasty. We got lucky to get a table as the inside was full and fully booked for the rest of the day. Friendly staff and patient with our french skills😁😅.

Past by on our hike/walk in Saint Cloud park and the “wood“. Glad we stopped here for lunch, we had duck and it was very good. Thinks we were lucky with our table, think it’s a good thing to book ahead.

Great atmosphere, amazing food

Food was great as always......but service was just terrible. We had a a group of seven, when we wanted to pay we were handed the bill and asked to calculate individually what we were paying for, then they would not accept contactless pay. For such a classy place to eat this left a sour taste. Usually when paying we just let them know what meals we had and the costs are auto calculated for us. This visit was a huge disappointment.

During the pandemic most of the staff was not using the mask properly and even one person of the staff was not using a mask at all. And there was not space enough between the tables. Although the food was nice.

Tatsy lunch, not cheap but reasonably priced for the quality. (45 for 2 lunches and drinks). Our server was attentive and very tolerant of our terrible French.
