This hotel is in the centre of the old town so the location is brilliant. The room was great for a family, only downfall no standing shower just a bath. The Breakfast was also an amazing experience. We arrived to our table set up with fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheese, fresh croissants, cakes and fresh juice. A special mention to the young waiter who served us and our coffee, very professional and lovely. Also Manuella at breakfast was amazing, she was so caring and accommodating, whatever required was no trouble, she really added to our experience and was lovely each morning. Manuella helped pack some of the breakfast items to take onto our final journey back to London. The staff are very accommodating throughout and go above and beyond to be helpful. Before departing they packed us bags of water and cake to take with us. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is the little things that make so much difference!
Wow! This hotel was amazing. We had room 103 facing the courtyard and it was very spacious, with a huge bathroom, comfortable bed and delightfully quiet. Very conveniently it is located in the heart of the old town and access was quite easy. A secure carpark is at the rear of the hotel. The staff were consistently attentive, professional and extremely helpful. Upon departure we were provided with water and an absolutely delicious piece of cake - it was such a nice touch. Highly recommended!
We recently stayed at La Maison des Têtes, and it was easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel perfectly balances its historic roots with a beautiful blend of modern and cozy decor. Our room was incredibly spacious and felt like a true sanctuary.|The culinary experience is a major highlight, having three restaurants on-site, each offering delicious food and a unique, incredible experience. Breakfast was equally impressive; instead of a standard buffet, you are served a stunning tray of homemade yogurts, fresh pastries, breads, meats, and cheeses, with eggs cooked to order exactly how you like them.|Despite the central location, it was remarkably quiet and peaceful. The staff were the cherry on top—exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If you are looking for a flawless stay in Colmar, this is it.
Recently visited to celebrate our anniversary. We have stayed at many luxury hotels and La Maison des Tetes did not disappoint. Our room was spotless. The service from Marion was personable and professional. She went above and beyond to make us feel like VIP. We ate dinner at 2 of the restaurants and both were excellent. Overall a fabulous stay. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hotel! We were greeted with 5 star care and personal attention, and the room was beyond our expectations with the most beautiful update of modern comfort and historic preservation. The bed and bath were exceptional and they focused on every last detail. They offered in room breakfast which was the most fresh and beautiful luxury and it held us all day long. They even sent us home with a handmade cake the the journey! When we arrived at our next destination in another city they said “wow!!!” When we told them where we stayed in Colmar so the locals know this is special. Our only regret was the Michelin restaurant was closed the night of our stay but I’d go back here in a moment!||Nathan|New Hampshire USA. May-2026
This hotel is in the centre of the old town so the location is brilliant. The room was quiet and comfortable, the bed was perfect! Breakfast was also an amazing experience. We arrived to our table set up with fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheese, fresh croissants, cakes and fresh juice. We could then order eggs done in multiple ways as well as hot drinks. The staff are excellent and go above and beyond to be helpful. So much so that they packed us bags of water and cake to take with us for our onward car trip. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is the little things that make so much difference!
Maison des Tetes is in a fantastic location in Central Colmar and is a beautiful blend of old and new. It also had great food both at breakfast and in the brasserie with attentive and competent staff. However, we had a particularly cold May and the rooms were cold and no way to put the heating on which was centrally controlled. Our room was probably a disabled access room but had no shower curtain or glass so the bathroom routinely flooded. Would have preferred milk and more tea options in the rooms.
We really enjoyed our stay here, with a delicious breakfast and the most comfortable bed!! We were pleasantly surprised when upon checkout the desk clerk gave us a cake which was in a lovely box for our journey! |On the negative side, we found it odd that there was not someone at the front desk after 8 pm.|Overall, we would recommend Maison des Tetes!
