I have this place 5 stars. Not because it's a 5 star hotel but because it's the best you could ask for at this price. ||The room is just a comfy bed, toilet, table, TV and surprisingly nice shower. ||It was super clean, automatic checkin at the door was easy, parking right out the front, restaurants all around... but what surprised us the most was how nice the workers were. We have stayed in a lot of budget places in France like Premier Classe and Formulae 1 etc. Staff are usually rude. Here we found even the person mopping the floor outside to be polite and welcoming. ||Well done team. For this price (35€ from memory), I couldn't have asked for anything more! ||Enjoy!!
Third year we are staying here.... Nice hostel to stay a nigth at while traveling from Belgium to Spain and back to Belgium, good balance between price and quality. The owner / clerck is very friendly.....
We stayed here for 4 nights during high season in the summer.||||Rooms: The rooms were really small and it was noisy, you can hear the people in the next room and the hallway. The shower is very small (and i'm quite small framed as well), the toilet had a hard time flushing and there is barely room to walk in the room. It was fairly clean, no insects etc. ||All in all, if you just need the rooms to sleep in after a long day of activities, it's a good deal.||||Staff: The staff was genuinely nice and helpful. There was one younger blonde girl who helped us a lot and spoke english really well. ||||Location: Very conveniently located if you have a car. The wine region Chateauneuf du pape is right there, we went to visit the vineyards and had loads of great tastings (of course i didnt drink as the designated driver :) The bigger cities, such as Avignon and even Marseille were good to drive to. Marseille took us about 50 min to drive to. ||Apart from this, there is a great shopping center right next to the hotel. There is huge supermarket there (Auchan) and lots of other shops. ||||Other: There was free wifi, but the wifi was super slow... Airconditioning was too cold as well, you couldnt really adjust the temperature. My throat got sore and dry every day. ||There is no elevator! Be aware if you need an elevator. ||||Overall, i would recommend this hotel if you're traveling on a budget and want good value for your money.
Decent place for decent money. The Man at the reception spoke English which made the check in process very easy and fast. The room was big enough and everything was clean. The bathroom was a bit too small but if you stay for a night or two it's not a problem.
We stopped here recently for one night on our way south, we hadn't planned to stop, but as the traffic was bad and we were tired we broke our journey. All the other hotels in the area were full and we had the last two twin rooms (as a family room was not available). Our rooms were separated, one on the ground floor and one on the second floor, which wasn't a problem ||Both rooms were smaller than average twin rooms in other hotels, but it was clean, and functional and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was clean and the shower very small. ||The room on the second floor was quiet and its occupants slept well. ||The room on the ground floor was very noisy, when some guests arrived late at night, the sounded echoed, and was amplified by the tiled floor, it disturbed us. Also at 7am in the morning we were woken to the sound if breakfast being prepared and the smell of the croissants being cooked. The shower in the ground floor room was not great as the water pressure was low.||The breakfast was good value at only 5€ per person.
First if all, the staff (and owner) are brilliant and incredibly helpful. This is a very positive point.|However, the rooms are minute and there are no coat hooks, work surfaces or anything. Just one tiny shelf on a corner and two tiny bedside shelves with no power sockets.|The bathroom is also tiny.|Very good air conditioning, good parking, nice breakfast (but no ordinary tea).|Terribly noisy in the morning.|Ok for a stopover if you have earplugs and eyepads.
Reasonable branch of the Akena chain of hotels situated on a retail park. Sparsely furnished small room with lino flooring and only one plug point. Reasonable, functional bathroom. Plus points was the very cheap price and the close proximity to a variety of different places to eat and drink. The proximity to transport links is also a big plus point
Really not that great ngl, the room was kinda ok, the bathroom was incredibly small. Breakfast sucked hard, barely any food and bad quality. Would not recommend.
