I came to the emergency department after a bee sting because I felt unwell, had dizziness, vomiting earlier, headache, and was worried about my symptoms. My vital signs were checked, but I was sent home without seeing a doctor and advised to rest and take Doliprane. This is not the first time I have had this experience. I have come to emergency several times before and felt that my concerns were not fully heard. I understand triage exists, but as a patient it felt discouraging and I left feeling unsupported and worried. I hope communication and patient guidance can be improved, especially when people come in anxious and unsure whether their symptoms are serious.
Today we visited the allergy department with our child. I really liked the service. The doctor spoke very nicely with my child. The inspection was good. We did an allergy test. Everything is fine and I'm very happy😊
Absolutely fantastic,we visited dermatology yesterday and they were SO kind and professional, really wonderful team, thanks so very much
I would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at B1 for their professionalism during my emergency admission whilst on holiday. The service and aftercare was second to none. Nothing was ever too much, always cheerful, happy and willing to pass on information. Exemplary service. Thank you.
I think with all my heart the super kind doctor lady doctor in the urgent section and the super kind lady nurse and super kind gentleman intern. They looked after me when I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism in and they were so kind and I was a very nervous patient and I can’t thank them enough for all they did for me and I think people like them are just amazing and this whole department giving reassurance and doing their best for people every day and being so kind every single day every patient thank you very much and I’m quite sure I had as good a care as I could’ve had anywhere in the world and probably better unfortunately then I would’ve had in the United Kingdom
My husband received wonderful care at A&E and intensive care after experiencing a heart attack on holiday last October 2022. Speedy treatment and attentive nursing while in CHU for two weeks prior to repatriation to the UK. Could not have had better treatment. A huge thank you to the doctors and staff who looked after him. We are very grateful.
My brother Christopher had the most excellent care in accident and emergency for a pulmonary embolism. I know he is very grateful to the drs and nurses that night. They were kind caring and amazingly speedy to diagnose and find a medication. Compared to the normal experience in the U.K. the French system that night was incredible and they also called him back for a check up in a week, again with an amazing dr so sympathetic, that would be two to three months in the U.K. The staff treated him with dignity and compassion. A massive thank you to all there
Recently had to go to the CHU because of a severe flu. Although many people were on strike, I didn't wait a lot. At first, they didn't seem to be happy seeing someone with the flu appearing at the emergency service, but as soon as they saw my very low blood pressure, they did everything they could to take care of the issue. The doctor did his best to diagnose the problem, and even gave me a few masks- apparently not easily found in pharmacies- at the end. And they tried to understand my weak French of course! Thank you to all the personnel!
