I stayed in this hotel in September. I’d had an accident in my car and had to return to retrieve it from  Annemasse. my experience was good. I decided to rebook and was not disappointed. i  had forgotten clothes items and they kept hold of them for me. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant chef came out to the table to greet his customers and the waitress was charming. Excellent home-made food . Reception  staff extremely warm a welcoming. Location is excellent with shops and restaurants nearby even by foot. Geneva border eight minutes away, perfect! I look forward to returning next year Thank you to the Staff .

A good stop over hotel for access to Geneva. We had been on holiday to Lake Annecy and Chamonix. On the way home I wanted to stop over near Geneva as it got us over an hour closer to Calais from Chamonix and would allow us to spend the day in Geneva then head up to stop over in Reims. |This hotel was a good, budget friendly family option. Not perfect but for the cost it was great. |We had 2 x 3 person rooms as there were 6 of us. Each room had a private shower room which was nice and clean with a hair dryer. There was also a kettle and basic drink making sachets (no milk). |The rooms were pretty clean and functional. They even had air conditioning units which was great (at first) as it was 30+ degrees. However we found that the air conditioner turned off about midnight. By 2am it was very warm and it completely refused to turn back on. Same in both rooms so I assume they are programmed in some way that can't be over ridden. We couldn't really open the windows as the kids were in the 3rd beds and the window was directly over their heads and opened in so not ideal (and they were scared of bugs 🙄)|Staff were helpful and friendly even when I licked myself out of the room 10 minutes after arriving. |We booked breakfast at just under 12 euros each. It was OK - croissants and pain au chocolate were great. There was fresh bread and cheese /ham/hard boiled eggs. There were some luke warm sausages and fritata too but didn't look very appetising and some small cold crepes. Importantly for my children at least there was no Nutella/Nutella substitute - the disappointment! 🙄. There was jam. Cereals and yogurts and fruit too.|There is a lovely communal lounge with fussball and the reception/dining room and terrace are all really nice too. |Also a Buffalo Grill, super marche and McD's with a 1 minute walk. |Was an easy 15-20 minute drive into Geneva which we did on the staff advice instead of taking train/tram. No need for vignette - just set Google maps to no tolls. Remember - not

This kind of inconsistent treatment of paying guests is simply unacceptable. A hotel should never leave guests without a clear, fair policy on something as basic as dinner service, especially when they have already paid for accommodation. Transparency and equal treatment should be a baseline expectation, not an exception.

We visited this hotel, and the photos do not reflect reality at all. It was very cold, and the air conditioner was installed right next to the bed, which is extremely uncomfortable. At night, it’s impossible to turn it off because you would simply freeze, so warm air blows directly on you all night, drying out your body and making it hard to breathe. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired

Really tiny rooms, totally absent space for suitcases, you have to parkour to get over the suitcases. uncomfortable lights because they are not controlled by the key-card and not united by a single switch but by many small switches on each spotlights. Absence of elevator and narrow and steep staircase, practically impossible with heavy and large suitcases. very low ceiling not even 2.40m, so the perception of claustrophobia increases. small bathroom but equipped with a large shower; tiny sink; toilet button not fully functional. the connecting rooms do not give a feeling of security. rude and unpleasant staff except for the cleaning lady who was very kind. towels not changed every day though. anaemic and poor breakfast: only croissants available. +30min from Geneva (the only reason i chose this hotel).

Our family spent 9 days in this hotel and would highly recommend it due to great location for doing trips to many beautiful spots in the Savoy region as well as French part of Switzerland. The greatest highlight is genuine, positive and very kind people who work in the hotel. We felt truly welcomed every day. Another highlight is definitely food- if you like local cheese, ham, fresh croissants and bread, great coffee, you will be very happy with breakfast. For a 3 star hotel, I would say, the breakfast was exceptional and dinners meal of the day was delicious typical French recipes. The chef of the restaurant was very good and kind too. Apart from the meals of the day, you have other common options like pizzas and huge salads that are great too. The rooms are very basic but clean and quiet so again, great value for a 3 star hotel. I would say, if you rent a car and have no problem traveling around, this is a great hotel to stay in due to reasonable price, great food, quiet and clean rooms and kind people. Hope this review is helpful 🙏

We booked a room for a school trip on this hotel for 4 days and when we first entered the room, me and my friend smelled a weird smell coming from somewhere in the room. We opened the bathroom door and the smell thickened. It was from the sink, and not just that but when we opened the sink to clean our hands, it started dripping water from the pipe. Some people had the same problem. Furthermore, the staff service was hideous. We wanted some help changing the towels that were dirty and the staff refused to change them. Not just that but the breakfast offered at the hotel had almost nothing half a baguette, a croissant and some toppings, basically nothing . The positioning of the hotel may be good but the quality is so bad that I wouldn't even recommend it for a 1 day stay.

AWESOME AND GREAT VALUE! I came here after staying in geneva and wanted something more rural. I have been here less than two hours and could almost instantaneously feel a charming, quaint, and calming aura to the place. Rooms are clean and give very Alpine (both literally and figuratively) vibes. Staff was nice Nd helpful (but could use a bit of English language improvement). Decodis absolutely beautiful. Only downside is location. it's a bit far away from train station. You realistically need a car. As well, would avoid 12 Euro breakfast. Too expensive
