Entering the Domaine I immediately felt the rural Provence calmness with long rows of vines and olive trees.||||The wine tasting was very informative and seemed to appeal to both connoisseurs as well as more casual wine drinkers. Wines were also sold in the reception next to the tasting room. The Domaine produces red, white and rosé wine and the red Clos Dière is not to be missed. The rosé was in my opinion very good at this price point as well.||||Speaking about Clos Dière, that was also the name of the building I stayed in on top of the hill. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and not least a beautiful view of the estate. ||||I had both breakfast, lunch and dinner at the estate restaurant that offered four different starters, main courses and deserts with vegetarian, fish and meat options.||||The sun rise was really stunning from the room and waking up taking a walk around the entire vineyard is something I look forward to again on my next return.
We had a wonderful weekend at Domaine Rabiega. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, lunch was delicious, and of course — we left with a car full of wine. Walking through the vineyards at sunset was pure magic, and the peaceful night made it feel like a real escape. Highly recommended for those who appreciate quiet luxury and good taste — in every sense.
Firstly the bedroom, and the wine tasting were wonderful, the room was beautiful and clean and the wine tasting was great fun. However the pool area and restaurant, the pool area was tired and dirty. There were very few chairs that were not broken, the pool hoover was left out and the wooden decking area around the pool was rotten. The food at lunch was ok, although even at 1pm we were told the kitchen was closed for lunch. |We arrived for supper at 8pm, the hotel had been very strict we needed to book supper. The food was inedible, we had tuna and salmon to start, the tuna was a horrible grey colour suggesting it had been frozen and was not fresh and the salmon so acidic it was hard to eat. The main courses were ok, but not good, my lamb was hard and the duck was tasty but cold. Dessert was basically a frozen donut, and my girlfriend found a large piece of gelatine in it - the size of a postage stamp. It was during dessert we saw the two rats, these were not mice, they were large. Very large. Running up and down the steps next to the pool, only 5 metres or so from the restaurant. We mentioned our experience to the staff at reception and at the restaurant. In both instances they were sweet but not able to help.
Located this boutique hotel. We stayed here for 1 night while on a road trip. Staff was amazing
Went for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. Check in took well over an hour very badly organised as they already knew there were 50 odd wedding guests booked in. Did not want us to check in before 3 even though they were doing a canapé reception at 5 for all of us. We got our room which was really nice but unfortunately looked out on to a concrete wall and the car tyres which was the back car park. No other window in this room. We were expecting a garden view which every other room in our block seemed to have. Went back to reception were people were still queuing and they changed it to another building. Yes this room had a nice view and patio windows with a couple of metal chairs and table so you could sit out if you wanted. The room itself was comfortable the air con worked. Good shower/wet room but I wouldn’t call it 4 star. We had to order our food before we came out for the night before the wedding, this was very nice but a choice of only two starters and mains. |Breakfast was also chaos it was very much help yourself, cutlery cups food. The coffee machine broke then was mended, so another queue so for coffee. The breakfast itself was standard fruits cereals yogurts cold meats cheese and good bread pastries, it was a good enough choice.|Next day for lunch was also limited, There wasn’t enough staff in the kitchen to cook pizzas , as the chef had left a couple of weeks earlier, which I’m sure most of the quests would have liked, or even a ceasar salad or tuna salad but they had run out of lettuce! We went out to get some sandwiches and left them to get ready for the wedding meal.|The wedding meal itself was lovely so that was great, there seemed to be more staff and the service was good. The rose wine was delicious it was their own brand and very good.|Next day we checked out of our room at 11 am and took our suitcases down to reception and asked if we could put them somewhere until we left later on. We still had family checked in for another ni
Wonderful spot in Provence. This organic vineyard is not just a spot to get a tasting or wine but also a 4 star hotel with a pool and an exceptional restaurant. The service is knowledgeable and top notch, informative and keeps check on you. I had a lovely time. Can't recommend this enough if you are in the area you must give it a try. Thank you.
Been to Domaine Rabiega 3 times before and each time is was exceptional, and I’m sorry to say that it had completely changed since last summer. Restaurant: new staff and new menu. Very disappointing, the food used to be beautifully presented and creative dishes. The menu now could be any bistro anywhere, food was ok but not exceptional. Service was ok but not amazing as before, no sense of service or knowledge of their or own wines served, just poured without any explanation… Lack of attention to detail. Wine tasting : As we didn’t get any explanation regarding the wines we went to the cave to taste some wines and buy some to bring with us. When we arrived, we said we had been to the restaurant and would like to taste and buy some wine. The person asked us to go sit in a different room to wait(we where the only ones there). The past 3 times I was there we there we got to try the wine around the tasting tables and no waiting. While we sat and waited another couple arrived and then another one to check into the hotel and the person who told us to sit down left with them. After 15 minutes of waiting we left. It’s a pity but I have recommended this place to many friends and unfortunately I will not come back after the last experience.
Excellent and tasty lunch with a concept of sharing starters and main dishes if you wish all at the same time. We were the only clients for this lunch in the beginning of the week and in the low season, so the service was excellent. The open kitchen is entertaining (however one can also hear the disputes...which is less entertaining..). We started lunch inside and had dessert and coffee outside in the sun. I would definitely come back and try also the hotel!
