Gramaci hosted a business dinner for us and it could not have been any better. The food was delicious. The service was exceptional. Hamidine was quick to refill drinks and spaced the courses appropriately. Cannot wait to revisit this restaurant for dinner this week
Car access to hotel lobby was closed when I arrived late evening ~11pm. I was pulling 2 large luggage for 50m looking for the hotel entrance (lights off) for 10 minutes, worrying if the taxi dropped me at the correct location.
Thurga - very nice woman at Reception desk - did a great job with both our initial greeting and assistance while we stayed at The Renaissance. Our impression of property started with her wondeful countenance, she did a great job with us! Also, cannot forget to mention Mohammed. He was so helpful and courteous - wonderful people to have on a Team!
Great breakfast! The selection was fresh, delicious, and well presented. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly and attentive. A perfect way to start the day.highly recommended! 🍳🥐
2 stars because it started with having to explain to the staff that i was allowed to request a late priority check out for free as a silver elite Marriott bonvoy member. That weekend was supposed to be stress free. I requested a late priority checkout before checking in and was told it was okay. So far so good.Only to check in and ask again just to make sure, but got told late priority checkout is 45€ and only free for gold elite status members, which I had never ever heard in any marriott hotel I had ever been to. Hadn't I asked, I would've been woken up at 11am or charged 45€ at checkout. Eventually, I was able to stay for free "exceptionally". I hate that what should be a benefit if requested and available, turned into a privilege, and after fighting for it. It would be nice if all the Marriott hotels had the same policy when it came to the benefits that come with being a bonvoy member. Or if the hotel staff knew what benefits came with the different statuses. Other than that, the room and bedroom are spacious, it's conveniently located.
We stayed for a Christmas Holiday and arrived a little earlier than expected. Front Desk was amazong by letting us into one of the rooms earlier. |We had breakfast daily at Gramaci and it was such a great surprise. The staff is very kind and helpful, the chefs at the omelette station are amazing. The buffet was very complete with tons of options and great quality on the food. |The Rooms were great sized and comfortable, also the lady that did the room every morning was very attentive. ||We also had dinner at Gramaci & our waiter was amazing. The food is on another level, we enjoyed everything so much. ||Location: it is in La Defense which is a business district but just a 3 mute walk to the metro and Westfield Mall in which you can get anything & everything. ||Definately would stay here again. We spent two days at the Renaissance Paris and had a genuinely smooth and enjoyable stay from start to finish. Check‑in and checkout were handled with great care to make sure we get around the area and teh city easily. (although we know the city quite well) The room had the requested view that —was a thoughtful touch that set a positive tone for the visit.||Breakfast staff were warm, attentive, and consistently helpful, making mornings feel relaxed and welcoming. The bathroom, however, could use some maintenance. While functional, it looked a bit outdated and would benefit from some refreshing.||I also appreciated the strong follow‑up from both the night audit team and guest relations. Their attention to detail and proactive communication made our stay feel personalized and well cared for.||Overall, trough the people it shows that is a well‑run property.
Paris is experiencing a heat wave now and the rooms air cons are not working well. Temp can go up to 25c in the room. Wven when offered a fan, room is still warm as it just circulates the warm air around. Stay only if you don’t mind sub par cooling system and be ready to endure warm nights
