There's no particular charm or interest to this hotel, but it's well located and comfortable. I was able to walk to several choices of where to eat dinner and I had an excellent sleep, which is what matters. The buffet breakfast was fine - pretty average for this sort of hotel: fruit, yogurt, croissant, bread, jams, cheese cold cuts. All in all, nothing special but it was a perfectly fine choice to stay in Pontarlier.

The hotel was near the city centre. There are short parking spots and a free parking place a few minutes to walk. The hotel has a restaurant where you could get lunch and a bar. We didn't test it but it looked nice and popular. A late check- in is possible. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. Our room was located at the back of the building so traffic noise was no problem. They offered pretty nice shampoo and body lotion. The breakfast was okay. Everyone received one Croissant, some ham and cheese. Yoghurt, Coffee, hot chocolate, juices, Baguette and muesli. We had troubles to lock the door to the toilet. The restaurant does not offer dinner. The hotel does not have an own parking space. There is no air conditioner but we were able to cool the room down by opening the windows. The shower was a little bit to hot for me and I had problems to manage the temperature. In total I liked the hotel and would recommend it for a night or two during a pass through or short trip

Two first for me . I’ve never been in a hotel room that didn’t have ANY tea or coffee making facilities! Not even bottled water. Also I’ve never been in a shower where there is literally nowhere to put your soap ! Breakfast was very poor with not even the usual miserable ‘continental’ breakfast available , just bread and juice with cereal if you wanted it. On the second day came down to breakfast to find nothing available but after a short wait some bread and coffee did arrive . However the waitress or waiter ( not sure) was not the most hospitable, it surely costs nothing to give just a little smile! Didn’t really mind the clock bells chiming or the lack of AC but that smile would have helped. Definitely won’t be returning any time soon.

Stayed here at the last minute on a bike ride across France. The staff were friendly. The room was clean. The location was excellent in that you had a great variety of restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast was an additional supplement to the cost of the room however it was sufficient.Would recommend this hotel for a quick 1 night stopover but longer thn that I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Arriving by car to Pontarlier city centre, We found this hotel easily. Parking outside the hotel was not available so we had to park away. We were greeted by a pleasant man that had no English language skills. Communication was a problem. ||He gave us a voucher that the hotel provides for free street parking and we were able to use this but did have our concerns as the car was a few streets away out of sight.||We enjoyed an upstairs room on the third floor. We had a very nice private bathroom . Rooms are all serviced by a lift but we did need to walk one flight to the top as well.||We choose not to have the buffet breakfast as across the road is an excellent French bakery and a coffee & croissant is excellent for breakfast and suited our budget better.||Free Wi-Fi worked well. A pleasant stay at this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They do take care of the guest's wishes. Many different rooms. ||As so often in France the ventilation in the bathroom was insufficient.||Average breakfast, but lovely view into the morning sun out of the large showcase.||Hotel offers also a bistrot. A bar in the neighbourhood, thus don't take the room to the streetside...

As a group of three friends we were hiking in the Jura. We had reserved to stay in this hotel by credit card, unfortunately a mistake by the hotel meant the room was double booked and we were shifted to the Kyriad on the industrial estate (which they did reserve on our behalf). However as walkers we had already covered 27km that day - on arriving in Pontarlier we had to walk an additional 45 mins to get to the hotel (and out again on the next day). We never saw the town centre as we were just too tired at the end of our day. We had to eat in chain restaurant next to the hotel. It was fine, but a far cry from the authentic experience we had hoped of.
