OCTOPUS

This is a welcoming place to have a drink while looking out at the harbor, forts, and abbey. It is also just around the block from the antique bakery. We had a beer and enjoyed the view from one of their patio tables. They have a seating area close to the door of the bar and another across the road at the overlook. Next time we e will try their cocktail menu.

A beautiful place with a very special atmosphere, created by an unusual set up of this outdoor bar, the unusual view of the Vieux Port, friendly staff, mouthwatering tapas and lovely clientele.

Delicious planche à mer, great views. However, service leaves a lot to be desired and overpriced.

Bring your own beer and picnic and enjoy the view. The service is worst than minimal, the prices are higher than any great place in Marseille only too get your food served in mini cardboard cups and disposables. Bread is in a take away bag, beers in plastic cups. We were served a terribly bad and warm white wine and when asked to change they were condescendant and asked to pay for another glass, when we already spent a lot on food and drinks. This place pretends to be way more than what it is, a mimic of a bar. Meh

Le pouloe is in the right spot, under the Abbey and in front of Marseille's view port. Perfect to chill out. Lovely waitress, really helpful.

Great place, with a wonderful view I recommend it to have a drink at sunset ;) Very nice staff!
