RESIDENCE CYLLENE

Good things first:|+ it's very close to the airport, that was the reason why I booked it|+ the rooms look nice ||BUT:|- the whole floor didn't have water on both evenings/nights when I was there! |- the fan in bathroom is running all the time, which is VERY annoying in the night |- my room wasn't cleaned during the two days||I definitely don't come back again.

A quiet and comfortable, cozy and nice hotel with a view of a wide green-grass field, young trees, and boundless sky. Away from noisy highways, has its own parking. Close to the Strasbourg airport. There's everything you need in the hotel rooms. The hotel has a laundry and free WiFi. The staff is hospitable and friendly. I recommend it👍🏻

It didn't seem like much when we first arrived and saw the exterior of the hotel. While minimal, the decor is quite modern inside. I was welcomed upon check-in by a lovely gentleman named Julian, who was friendly and helpful and eager to serve for our 2-night stay. We came as a family of 4, including 2 young children under the age of 3. Our suite was immaculate and comfortable. Though we had to pay for wifi, the fee was nominal and the signal was strong and reliable. Overall, we would say that the value of the hotel was fantastic. It is a bit of a drive into the city (approximately 20-minutes), but this isn't something that we minded too much.

We stayed at this hotel as couple between 3 and 4 July with other guests of the tour group. The hotel is very far from city center. It is very hard to go back to city from here. As we were guests of the organized package tour we arrived late and left ealy to visit different cities and countries. But if we were just a couple and arranging our own trip this hotel would be too far from the city. There seems no other hotel or house around. The lobby is too small. Breakfast has no variaty. The receptionist worked as waiter in the breakfast hall and despite the lack of sign for guests to empaty their trays, we heard from the group that waiter shouted people as they didnt empty their trays. We would not suggest and stay at this hotel. The Rooms are clean and wide enough. Bathroom is good.

My wife and I had to stay at this hotel a little longer than we intended to a family problem. However, this gave me a chance to write to fair review from observations and experiences over several days. Well, the hotel is near the airport - probably 5 or 6 minutes by car. Sounds good ? Hold on - the airport road leads straight to the motorway and the lady at the airport information desk told us the only way to the hotel is by taxi. Flat rate ? 20 euros ! The hotel seems to be on the edge of an industrial estate and in the middle of nowhere but if you walk for 5 minutes you will find a carrefour and carry on for a further 20 minutes will reach the delightful village of Entzheim. Well worth a visit. Back to the hotel though. Room was okay with a good bathroom and cooking facilities. However we stayed for 5 nights and the room wasn't cleaned once and neither were the towels changed. There is a picture in the lift showing a photo of what you can expect at breakfast. It must have been out of a magazine as my breakfast looked nothing like that. Everyday was hit and miss with each day different items of food running out and never to be replaced and this was an hour before breakfast closed. Save yourself some money and spend it in carrefour and make your own breakfast. This probably sounds negative more because of the amount of time we ended up having to stay. For a one night stop over you would probably be okay. One last thing, Strasbourg city centre is 45 60 euros each way in a taxi. However you can a bus and then change to a tram from a stop 5 minutes from the hotel and get into Strasbourg centre in about 30-40 minutes for about 5 euros a person round trip so if you don't have a car all is not lost !

Stayed at this hotel before an early morning flight. The hotel is on a sparse industrial estate, but surrounded by fields, and only a short drive to the airport (~10min).||The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, parking and Internet are all extra, but reasonably priced. The room was clean and comfortable, if a little hot on the night I stayed.||Would use again, very reasonable.

Hotel clean. Very poor breakfast. Possible to eat cold hard-boilled eggs, most of the food is cold.The spoon is too short to pick up jam from a tall cup. The staff is moving the baguettes by - I saw minimally two persons who held them in their hands, this was done in front of quests - no hygiene... Drinks are offered to drink from PLASTIC cups, at room plastic cups...

Last minute booking recommend by friends..||E49 for room, again hidden costs..parking E3 (no so bad), taxes!, breakfast charge also.||Room 2 large rooms..stunk of cigarettes! Rubbish bin in bathroom so bad had to give it to reception, also had to get toilet paper..no roll holder in bathroom , so one thinks why put paper above loo.!!||TV no English speaking channels!! Appart'city is next to international airport??||But room was clean and did have 2 bedrooms, huge bathroom set up for disabled.||Kitchenette had heaps in it..with warning you must clean up or be charged. But no tea towels to wipe up?||And so to breakfast..arrived at the breakfast room to find nearly every thing gone, asked where we're the American breakfasts we paid for.. French help did not want to have any thing to do with us. Finally eggs arrived but that was it..one croissant between us!!||Went to reception who did refund E4 off the cost..we then found out 80 Chinese had been thru..point being the French help was not capable and she was rude!!
