Amazing experience. Complex food, but delicious for everyone. Get the rabbit and the chocolate dessert option.
The service began well with the host and the seating as previously requested was a great one as well. It all went downhill when the female server picked up the order, it was a game of tug of war to push your bill up, for one person I paid 141€. And I don't seem to have anything to remember other than the snobby lady who only attended tables in Dutch. I will say the food presentation was great and the dessert was also good. But no need to make your way over, go somewhere else, better service. I found a pellet used in hunting in the hare, that's unacceptable. Also the chef never even came across the room to say hello or something. If a two star Michelin restaurant chef can do it, you can too, service from the heart not from the size of our pockets. Pity I must say. Adding to the fact that all 5 star reviews are of people who only have one review, how believable is that?
Eating at this restaurant was one of the most Excellent dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. The food was so delicious. The wine pairing was amazing and the service was done above and beyond.

The dinner menu was phenomenal, and the wine pairing was beautiful. Although the service can be a bit on the slow side, the warmth of the staff and the quality of the food ensures a memorable experience, and frankly I never felt like I was waiting, just enjoying the afterglow of a beautiful dish with a nice glass of wine. I can still dream of the subtle flavor profiles of some of the dishes... I highly recommend the restaurant!
Other reviews say service is bad, but I think that might just be Americans not used to getting smiling and over enthusiastic waitstaff. Great food, though met the base level of expectations for a Michelin star restaurant. The turbot was especially good and was a highlight, and the soufflé was excellent. Charging €6 for each still water felt excessive. I do worry this feels like a place struggling to make ends meet as the expensive water and the constant options to add up charges to the meal feels a bit like being on a budget cruise line. We got the basic wine pairing, which was good, but again felt like it just met expectations. The sherry with dessert was a “wow” but the rest was just “oh nice, that’s perfectly good”, which sums up the evening. For people who can afford this easily (Americans on vacation or wealthy Europeans who do this often) it’s a good alternative to cheese and frites in Bruges.
We came for lunch on Boxing Day and the whole experience was great. Service was good and they were particularly accommodating to our 3 year old son. Food was really lovely. Some people have reviewed poor remarks about extra charges, it does say on the menu the price of things so I can only assume stupid people expect something for nothing! We would visit again!
Was a very relaxed atmosphere at lunch and was not crowded at all. Excellent service and a delicious meal. Going there at lunchtime was the good choice. Recommended if you visit Brugge.
